I absolutely love this little mom-and-pop seafood joint in Pensacola, FL!? ?

Kingfisher serves delicious, southern seafood style dishes near the main downtown area.

Atmosphere: The interior is warm and inviting with a wooden theme all about the space.
Service: The service style is set up where you order at the register, and then they bring your food to your table of choice.
Menu items: I had their Fish Sandwich with a side of crispy potato chips! The food here is flavorful and delicious!

If you would prefer not to have a seafood options, they have other menu items to accommodate!

Delicious. Everything was seasoned well and full of flavor. The chicken finger basket had four hot, tasty pieces. The French fries are well seasoned and the mac n cheese was great. The Cuban sandwich was excellent with crispy bread and served with homemade chips. We had the key lime pie. It was homemade and the perfect blend of sweet and tart lime flavor. Excellent choice for a meal!

The watermelon salad (with blackened grouper) and the Thai salad (with blackened shrimp) were delicious! Best food we've had in the greater Orange Beach area!

Lamb sandwich was amazing. The only bad thing about this place was they had too many sandwiches that sounded delicious and it took forever to decide on just one. I’ll definitely be back.

The food is consistently delicious with an impressive array of homemade items as pickles and potato chips, and the desserts are delicious! I recommend it to everyone.

I spent $50 on 2 platters and dessert and the platters came with 2 small dry pieces of fish and 3 shrimp, 5 pieces of rock hard oakra and a small bowl of potato salad each. I asked the waitress is this the portion you get for $40 worth of platters and she said yes. Way overpriced and no flavor.

Consistently serving the freshest food. The vegan options are greatly appreciated and they are absolutely delicious. The jackfruit sandwich is out of this world and on top of that all bread is made fresh daily, in house! So lucky to have a place like this in Pensacola. Updated from previous review on 2023-07-23

Had the chicken thigh sandwich. It did not taste like chicken and it was sweet. The people with me thought their food was also overly sweet. They do liberally apply sauces to their sandwiches, if you like that kind of thing. Order and pay at the register, along with the suggestion that you tip like traditional table service, before filling your own water and grabbing your own condiments.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly and were explained the menu and how everything is made in house, from the bread and chips to grinding the meat. I ordered the chicken pot pie from the specials menu and my wife ordered the crab cake sandwich with chips. We also ordered hushpuppies and tried the key lime and lemon chess pies. We were not disappointed in the slightest. Everything tasted amazing and fresh. The pot pie was like an empanada and was crispy all the way around. It came with delicious gravy for dipping and a fresh side salad. The crab cake sandwich was larger than I was expecting, with the patty being at least an inch thick and the width of the bun. We will be coming back, I only wish we'd have tried this place sooner!

Initial visit. Shrimp platter with side salad and Mac& cheese. Everything delicious. I got blue cheese cheese dressing on side salad and it came with a generous amount of Bleu cheese chunks on it. The shrimp sauce is made there, I think and that was delicious as well. One thing I would change I wanted fountain diet coke and they only had cans. Also more spice added to hushpuppies would be good
