Did not even order food. When the Hostess seated us my wife asked he a question and she just walked off. Once we sat down we noticed the table was so sticky we had to literally peel the menus off the table. We got up and walked out and walked past the Hostess and she never said a word. Will never go back to this Sonny's BBQ again.
I ate here last week with my family. Everything was great. I had sides, my son and husband both had the Cuban sandwich. Along with fries and a side salad. They loved it and wish Sonny's had restaurants in Sugar Land/Houston. Sweet tea was very good as well. Nice and sweet, real sugar.
I used drive through service at this restaurant many of times, it's been awhile since my last visit. Did policy change, because the window did not state nothing except to park in designated area. So after 22 minutes of waiting, went inside, my order was on counter waiting. If I wanted to come inside, I wouldn't have used drive through. I gave a tip at drive through, the least courtesy they could have done is walk it out to my car.
I had the 3 meat platter and so did my husband.
The pulled pork was very good, the chicken tender was good, the baby rips were great.
And we loved the sides, coleslaw, beans, and garlic bread.
The beef brisket was too dry and somehow lacking taste.
We also enjoyed the bogo beer.
All in all a good experience.
Oh I was intrigued by the 6 bbq sauce bottles.
The main problem I have with this place is portion size. It seems to get smaller and smaller and the prices seem to get larger and larger.
I witnessed a waitress, Chloe, yell and curse another server while dining in a few nights ago. It was extremely unprofessional and made my experience rather uncomfortable.
OUR WAITRESS BRITTANY G WENT ABOVE &BEYOND MAKING SURE EVERYTHING WAS CORRECT TY
Got my favorite smoked wings as a pick a meal so that I would have veggies. I stopped by as I was passing through on my way to Mobile's airport to pick up my daughter.
Vegetarian options: Love their baked sweet potato and coleslaw options.

If you have hours to burn and don't want to eat good food, this is the place for you! We had a large party (16) so we anticipated a wait. Got there at 12:30 and got on the list. It was not packed, but there were people eating and waiting. After an hour of waiting we asked how long and they said they were "cleaning the table". There was next to no one in the restaurant at this point, there were 4 workers hanging out and chatting at the hostess stand and plenty of tables available. We finally got seated about 15 minutes later. Waitress came and took our order within 10 minutes. It took another 20 to get drinks (mostly water was ordered) and 45 minutes for our food to come out. The waitress was working but seemed to be the only one actually doing so. Food there is normally subpar but it was somehow worse today, maybe just the whole experience tainted it. We finally got to leave at about 3:00p.m. All the while they were cranking out their to go orders, which seem to be their priority instead of the people sitting in the building. As there were at least 4 workers hanging out on their phones or goofing at the bar anytime you looked. We won't be back to this poorly managed store. I do not recommend you visit this location.

I friggin LOVE the decor and aroma, plus the young ladies behind the counter were hustling! I ordered NNQ egg rolls, the sampler with ribs/all white/pulled pork & chopped brisket with Coleslaw/bbq beans & Mac n cheese sidekicks, banana pudding for dessert and chose sweet sizzlin sauce. The novelty of the egg rolls wasn’t lost on me, but I found the texture of the stuffing off-putting and they were definitely not delicious. Unfortunately the beans looked and tasted like generic canned baked beans, not a hint of smokiness nor any added seasons. TBH the lack of flavor was shocking juxtaposed to the intensely delicious meats! The white meat chicken was juicy and flavorful with every bite, the ribs were tender and flavorful on their own(like the sauce was just superfluous if I’m honest) the brisket & pulled pork were dry AF yet still very flavorful on their own- the SUPER yummy sweet-sizzlin sauce helped a little with the dryness. The Coleslaw and TX toast were basic- nothing to feel any particular way about(good nor bad). NGL, I was very pleasantly surprised at how yummy the Mac n cheese was- ESPECIALLY with the ribs and chicken 🤤. It was pretty disappointing to eat the silky goodness that was the banana pudding only to find slimy-brown chunks of bananas at the bottom. Will for sure be back for the chicken & am excited to taste more of the menu.

Chloe was the best waitress ever! It's like she could read our minds before we even asked for anything. Great service!

Stopped in for a late lunch while on vacation and had a wonderful meal! Our waiter was Stephen who was on top of everything, and was very attentive! The place was clean and the food was great. My family will be coming back when we’re in the area.
