Good food at a really nice setting. $25 shrimp and grits is a bit steep but it was good. The much praised meatloaf was just meatloaf. Good place for a family celebration but pricey and noisey.

We really wanted to love this place. The location is great, it's nice on the inside and outside, the menu was amazing. We wanted to try everything! But, the items we did try were disappointing. The oysters were good, but every bite included shell fragments. The cajun dip... flavorless. And don't expect a gluten free pita. You get tortilla chips. The fish tacos were just ok. The fish platter was below average and the hush puppies had a strange after taste. Pretty sure the slaw they brought was leftover from the day before. The gluten free mac and cheese was cheese soup. I picked out as many noodles as i could. This place can be great if the food was better.

Location is gorgeous, but we had too many strikes with the food and service with no remorse or assistance. Went on a Tuesday with five adults and two kids. Waitress was new and sweet, but was told by the bar there was no IPA, then they found it hooked up to the wrong tap, then delivered an amber. The food was advertised with risotto & veggies, and it came out with mashed potatoes. And no mention of the change (I found out by trying it). Ordered an appetizer for dinner (with everyone else’s dinner orders) and it came out too early, but after the appetizers. Someone asked to replace the fish, and waitress said she’d ask, but came back with the dish (no replacement) instead of an answer. For the prices, we didn’t expect the poor food and service, and certainly didn’t expect them to add a 20% gratuity (menu mentioned “gratuity added to parties larger than 5” but never said how much). There did not seem to be anyone to care that we had such a negative experience. Waitress didn’t even come over to close us out. Super disappointed.

Our visit to South Market in Pensacola was a mistake. Everyone in our party felt the same way—this was not a good dining experience. We came on a Wednesday night.

The food was average at best, and some dishes were just bad. The mashed potatoes were dry, and the tuna was so salty and tough it was hard to chew—felt like eating a shoe. Honestly, I don’t know how the chef let that plate leave the kitchen. It gave the impression no one cared about the food they were serving.

They were out of several menu items, including the grouper, and when I asked for an IPA, I was told they only had two beers on draft. For a place that presents itself as a full-service restaurant, that’s just not acceptable.

The only saving grace was the wait staff—they were kind, professional, and clearly doing their best despite the circumstances.

Not sure how long this place will last if they keep this up. We won’t be back. So sorry.

Absolutely leaves something to be desired. The smell when we walked in raised some red flags. Wait staff was competent, but not warm. Ladies restrooms smelled of ammonia so badly it made me sick and the floors were terribly dirty. The windows needed a wash as well and took away from the nice evening view. I really wished we would have had a better experience considering we don't get to have date night often and it felt very wasted on this restaurant.

Came in with my boyfriend to eat for out early birthdays. Started out great, got our drinks and appetizer.. but the drinks were nasty. Way too much alcohol, neither of us could even finish them.. so we sent them back, without any issues. But once they dropped off our meals, that was the last contact with our server. No check ups, or no refills. Meanwhile she walked passed up multiple time checking on 2 other tables. next time we seen her was for a box and our check... then we were left sitting and waiting to be cashed out for at least 15 minutes.. as she continued to walk by checking on other guests. so at that point I was over it, we didn't even get cashed out by our server. We had to pay from their QR code they had on our bill because she wouldnt come back to our table, waiting over 15 minutes for her.. By the time she finally came back to the table is when we were finally walking out to leave. Over all our food was great, not fan of their drinks. But the service could have definitely been better.. definitely would probably give Angelina more training.

When your hostess prioritizes arguing with the staff over serving your customers, you’ve got issues!! First experience, live in Milton and won’t be back. It’s a shame that a local restaurant with good food allows their staff to trash their business.

Was really looking forward to a date night with my wife. Got a great table on the patio overlooking the bay. That was the last human contact we had for over ten minutes, despite servers making multiple trips to serve the three other occupied tables. Wish we could have tasted the food or at least a glass of water.

We were seated and waited 10 minutes for a server to show. Gave up and left.

Waited forever without being acknowledged. 2 employees in the whole joint apparently. Our drink order was delayed due to printer problems- food finally arrived. Pasta was cold, fries were limp and greasy. Obviously an establishment that is barely hanging on.

One of the worst dining experiences in Pensacola. Beautiful view & awful food. I’ve tried three times. The 3rd was so bad that I’ll never go back.

Service was good. Location was pretty overlooking the bay. Salmon was a bit overcooked but the sides were good. I'll go again when in the area.

Please put the blu cheese fries back on the menu & leave them there. Please make sure after you make them a permanent menu item to always have the ingredients needed to make the blu cheese fries. The last couple of times my mom's been in town we've gone to south market after checking their recent online menu to make sure the magic fries were on the menu & then the first time we were told they didn't have the stuff to make them & the second time we were told they just came off the menu last week. It's wildly disappointing to look forward to something & get let down like that repeatedly. I love South Market for a bloody mary & some magic fries, too bad that doesn't exist anymore. Sadly, we won't be back):
