Best Mex in Pensacola. The tacos rival El Asador for taste and quality, and the tamale is the most authentic in town. The decor and atmosphere is really fun as well. We had a group of 8, and the service was top notch. Yes, it is kind of a weird location but don’t let it throw you off. This is the Mexican joint you’ve been looking for.

The Menudo was not cleaned properly and still had a smell from the stomach. I wish you could buy the honeycomb from the meat market, but they only sell blocks of tripe.

Bread is delicious, especially when it's fresh out of the oven.
This is my go to Mexican supermarket when I need to get any ingredients for any occasion, they have excellent Bavarian cream pastries, maple pigs, , tres leches, pan de queso, and conchas basically anything Hispanic related will be found at the store. In the back they have a deli meat counter that also has your preseasoned meats for your Carne Asada’s/ cookouts
We used to really enjoy this place and came here regularly, but over the past year we’ve noticed a decline. While I understand food costs are rising, the frequent price increases haven’t been matched with the same level of quality in the food or service.
What ultimately made us decide to stop coming was the additional card fee on top of the already higher prices. At that point, it feels like the value just isn’t there anymore, especially when there are other restaurants in the area that provide a better overall experience for the same cost.

What a wonderful place! Great food and the restaurant details are superb, down to the unique, hand-painted scenes of Mexican pueblos on the chairs and booths. Wish I lived closer so I could return regularly.

We had a very good dinner, we had the Tacos, Burrito, Torta, and we tryed both the red a green tamales. The green was amazing. So we ordered 12 tamales to go home and freeze. Would recommend this place. 👌

Absolutely amazing food/service/atmosphere! An amazing and authentic Mexican restaurant with great portions and beautiful decorations. I was kind of skeptical at first since it doesn’t look that nice from the outside and the inside looked like the Americanized Mexican restaurants, but wow I shouldn’t have judged a book by its cover. From the moment we walked in we were greeted so kindly by the servers and they accommodated us very quickly as a party of 7. We were just passing through when we finally spotted a Mexican place. We were so tired of seafood and fried food and just needed to feel at home for one meal. This place did exactly that. Mexican temple on one side, tvs showing different destinations in Mexico, papel picado on the ceilings. Beautiful. Tacos were delicious and flavorful I was so shocked. Can’t praise this place enough! It’s connected to a grocery store which was perfect to get some last minute snacks before heading back.

Here’s some favor, don’t eat tacos anywhere else in Pensacola. I’d call this and out-of-the-way taco place where you live close by or not, make the trip. I only have the tacos, but judging from the flavor, I’m assuming everything else was fantastic. I was quickly greeted and sat at my table with fresh tortilla chips and fantastic salsa. Tacos were great sauce bottles with an orange and a green sauce. Had a great amount of spice, but not too spicy.
