I had three tacos: Carne Asada, Al Pastor, and Barbacoa. All were excellent with very authentic Mexican flavors. I highly recommend this place, It is definitely going to be a go-to place for Mexican cuisine for my family.

THIS PLACE IS LEGIT!!!👏👏👏 we tried the chicken burrito and the chicken enchiladas and let me tell you its some of the best Ive had anywhere. Food tastes like a lot of care was put into it. Id share a photo, but we ate too fast! Also it is very affordable!!! Cool vibes , beautiful interior & great music playing. Id almost given up on finding good Mexican food restaurant in this area but Taco Mex came to the rescue! Ill be back 🌮🌯💕

The only reason I don't Give the food 5 stars is because iv had tacos in Mexico and Cali . But by far the best tacos in Pensacola. There chicharon tacos actually have meat not just cuerito like other places. Tripa is fried perfectly. Good salsas. Chorizo is homemade and they have Secina as well! I prefer it over el asador anyday.

Terrible experience at La Mexicana Supermarket.
I came to the establishment with my service animal, but they refused to serve me just because my dog wasn't wearing a vest labeled "service animal."
This is absolutely against the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). I even offered to show documents for the dog, but they refused to look at them. As a result, I was left hungry and feel that my civil rights were violated. I will file a complaint with the ADA, and the establishment will have to bear responsibility for their actions.
If the administration allows itself to break the law and violate citizens' rights right at the entrance, what is happening with the products they sell?
I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I'd include pictures, but I accidentally inhaled my food too fast to think about it. Things I've eaten and loved here - lengua tacos, carne asada tacos, black beans, banana leaf tamales, and chorizo and nopales cactus with steak. Oh, and the sweet tea here is actually sweet. The staff is always super nice, the atmosphere is pretty cool, and the prices are reasonable (in line with other Mexican places). Yes, the hot sauces they bring out are HOT. I made the cocky mistake of adding a bunch to my lengua tacos, and though it was delicious, my mouth was on fire. I try to eat lengua tacos at any place that has them, so I know my way around a lengua taco...this spot has quickly moved to the top of my list of BEST lengua tacos in the area.
