We absolutely loved our visits to The Crab Trap in Perdido Key! The snow crab and shrimp were delicious — so good we chose to eat here twice during our vacation this week. The kids’ playground was such a hit with our grandson and made the evening even more enjoyable. Our server, Nora, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and well taken care of. Highly recommend The Crab Trap for great food, friendly service, and a family-friendly atmosphere!

Not many folks go to a seafood place and order chicken tenders, lol, but I did and they were great. The waitress was very sweet. If I'm ever back in the area I will be back.

A smaller version of the Destin location but with the same menu and gulf-front relaxed atmosphere. There is a playground to keep the kids entertained and you are steps from the water.

Thought we ordered a crab plate. $75 for crab legs, two small potatoes, and an ear of corn. And “manager” was very rude. We are locals, not tourists, and was looking for a local place. Guess this one isn't it. I guess it is a trap

Had a fabulous meal here with my wife and in laws Labor Day 2025. Our server was fabulous and the food was excellent. If you are debating ONE appetizer, the smoked tuna appetizer is phenomenal!! The sausage and Gulf shrimp plate was excellent. I didn't think I'd eat it all, but I couldn't stop eating.

This was the worse place I have ever eaten! The service was horrible. Waited when we sat down for our server for quite some time. She finally came. Another staff member brought out our food. We didn't see her again til the end! The food was horrible! Gumbo does NOT have tomatoes in it or green chunky things in it! Fish was greasy. Fries was cold. Food was just overall bad. The place looks nothing like the pictures in the back. Its hideous. We sat by a run down/non functional bar that was covered in flies! Server hands me the bill (key pad) and stands over me and tells me too select what tip I am giving her. I felt so awkward. She literally was telling me to push what % tip to hit! All the while she stood next to me, while I held her key pad to pay my bill! I was so mad leaving there! I had just paid $180! Especially for such a horrible place & experience! I suggest you skip this place!
Got the Bairdi crab when visiting a few weeks ago! Some of the best crab legs I’ve ever eaten, well worth the money! If you can, give them a try! Next time we are down we will be back!

First time to visit Crab Trap was a great time! Crab dip appetizer is a must, Crab Trap Mahi was wonderful, and our waiter, Carson, was the best 🙌🏼👏🏻.
