We took an out of town family member to dinner, I had bragged about how great the steak and food is. Service was absolutely wonderful and the drinks were amazing. Unfortunately, the food was subpar. We ordered filets, each of the steaks had a tainted flavor (they were cooked perfectly), mashed potatoes were dry, the lobster was overcooked cooked, the pork belly tasted like jerky, and the calamari was overcooked So very disappointing and embarrassing. Please don't let this review discourage you from going to the District, every other time we've been there has been amazing. I'm chalking last night up to an off night. We'll definitely give it another try.

Great Place and romantic and quite atmosphere. The service and food were excellent. I highly recommend it. It is centrally located, and reservation was easy to make.

Food and service was fabulous ! Our wagers even brought out to me my To Go bag that I forgot!

Food was overpriced for what you get. Ordered the $25 scallop appetizer because waiter said they were two very large scallops that 3 people could share. They were medium to small at best. I ordered the fresh catch of the day. I took two bites of it and noticed something was wrong. When I shined a light on the fish, it was completely raw in the middle. Has to send it back. By the time a new order arrived my other dinner companions were done their meal. This is on top of the food not tasting very good. My companions ordered the $80 wagu steak and the lamb lollipops. Both dishes came with a sweet and weird tasting sauce. There was a manager walking around that looked clueless. When we were done our meal he stopped by and asked how everything was. He eluded to being aware of a problem with my meal but said he was really sure what the problem was and walked away. I could go on but needless to say I would not recommend this place. I was hoping for a fine dining experience but this place did not live up to expectations. I was very disappointed with the food and the service.

Wonderful meal and experience with friends for my birthday. Everything was on point. Especially the wine and specialty entrees and raw oysters. We are still talking about this meal. Thank you for making it special and accommodating our group size.

Perfect! Our service was outstanding— our waiter was prompt, friendly and helpful. Every dish we ordered was great. Dry aged New York strip was incredible. Very very happy we chose to come here while we were traveling.

My wife and I continued our tradition of celebrating our anniversary at The District and it didn’t disappoint. Must say I was a little concerned after reading some of the recent less than favorable reviews but our experience was excellent. Mark offered us great service and the food was delicious. My lamb chops were perfectly cooked and tasty. I’m sure we’ll be back before our next anniversary but until then keep up the great work!

Overall really enjoy the district. Like that upstairs and downstairs have total different vibes. Only thing is the live music upstairs is a tad to loud to allow for conversation amounts your table. Also there is definitely a difference in service level in the two areas. Upstairs the staff can seem a bit overwhelmed and sometimes snarky.
I love their parmesan fries!

I have been going to the District for years. It is probably the only true cocktail lounge in Pensacola. A secret that only the elite locals know. Please give this place a visit next date night.
