The District is a regular go-to for us for steaks and a nice night out. Start upstairs in the lounge, check for the times of the live background music, have a few drinks before your reservation. The dining experience is very nice, and the food is really well done. Everything is great - you can't go wrong (unless of course you order your steak well done! 😂) Our service has always been top notch - they work to make your experience the best. Lots of gluten-free options if that's something you look for.

The food and service was subpar,. Me and my wife got the two person steak meal. The steak was prepared correctly but not seasoned, The asparagus was under cooked and the mash potatoes tasted like they were boxed. The crab cake was ok but too spicy and the lobster bisque was spicy for no reason. I was so excited to eat here and I just feel let down. We reserved a table and still had to wait in a somewhat empty restaurant because we were early. The bartender was pleasant and the drinks were ok. It just didnt feel like fine dining the restaurant was very bright and music maybe?

We were celebrating a promotion and new job with a group of our friends. The ambiance was exceptional, the service was amazing as well BUT unfortunately the most expensive cut of meat, the Tomahawk steak - was not properly prepared because the aftermath was not ideal. My husband immediately started having stomach pains and we were hoping it would pass but instead, it intensified. We had to cut our night short and got the check and said our goodbyes to our friends.
Once we got home, my husband headed straight to the bathroom and everything he ate came back up. :( it was a horrific scene and I felt terrible for him because he was suffering from what appeared to be food poisoning which was accompanied by projectile vomiting and dry heaving. All I can say is that we spent over $200 dollars on our meals and my husband’s steak alone was at least $130 dollars and only to be completely thrown up.
While the ambiance and the service that we received were excellent, unfortunately the price of a good steak turned into an expensive case of food poisoning and discomfort. I urge the necessity to ensure that the meat is good and didn't go bad due to contamination. This was our first and last visit. We appreciate the outstanding customer service but ideal food handling and preparation is a must as we have never had this type of experience with the same type of cut in other steak houses.

It was ok. Steaks were great but the catch of the day (grouper) had a light breaded coating and was really salty. Fall salad was very small and drenched in dressing. Server informed us bread was served with the main course which making the few who didn't get salads to sit and stare at the ones who got salad. I personally like bread with my salad. They should rethink that policy.
Side dishes (asparagus and potatoes) were extremely bland. The fish was barely a 3 star dinner but the rest of my table enjoyed the steaks so I gave this 4 stars. I still say ehhh. It was just ok.

Food was surprisingly not good, mediocre at best, mostly flavorless or else way over-salted — every course, including soup and various steaks and whipped / fingerling potatoes . Some of the veggies tasted too charred to eat, you could not even taste the supposed seasonings. Steak medallions had tons of fat globules throughout. Wagu was amazingly flavorless. The appetizer salad was the best dish of any of our meals. Dessert was full of obviously artificial food dyes, which we didn’t expect at a fine dining. Good service, but we will not be back, especially for the price, there are several much tastier options in town.
Supper disappointing, it was nice place and staff were good but to me none of the food we got was good, 2 of us 230 dollars and any chain restaurant would have better food. I hate to be that way but the 65 dollar steak and I threw half of it out. Our waitress look at us like we were crazy for not taking left overs home. Not saying take my word for it but that's what I experienced.

Oofta. This is an odd one. The cocktails were an amazing blend of flavors and presented better than a mute blond with rockin shabadoos sitting in a corner. However, they were overpriced at 16 and 14 dollars, a bit of a gambit by the restaurant to overcharge tourists without driving off locals. For me it’s a loss.
The food was solid but not spectacular. At a value to scrumptious ratio it was a miss. The crispy pork belly was an absolute delight and performed above its listed price. The steak and frites underperformed from presentation to execution. The plate did not feel generous with only three medallions and a scantily amount of bernaisse sauce. The steak was not rested properly so it had the myoglobin oozing on the plate, or bleeding for the unlearned. The frites initially ate well but the truffle got cloying overtime and cried out, like a babe in the night, for a dipping sauce.
I doubt I’ll go back unless someone else is buying. It was good but it’s $60 worth of good with a $110 bill.

We always enjoy our meals at the District. I enjoy trying new things and the chef trys out new dishes occassionally, they have been excellent every time. My wife's favorite is the delmonico ribeye and french onion soup. The waitstaff and hostesses are always professional and top-tier. Always our first choice for a great meal and superb service. Can't recommend enough.

We hit up The District: Seville Steak & Seafood for dinner before a downtown show. Honestly, it was a total snooze fest. The place looks all fancy and upscale, but trust me, it's just a bunch of hype. The cocktails are on point, the service is meh, and the food is just, well, okay. We went for the Steak Frites, and let me tell you, the steaks were teeny tiny, and I couldn't even tell if they were dry aged. The kitchen clearly didn't know what they were doing, because the myoglobin was all over the plate. And don't even get me started on the béarnaise - it was basically nonexistent. This place is not fine dining, folks. It's not worth your hard-earned cash. Skip it, and go somewhere else for a real good time.

We had a beautiful experience. Our server, Daniel, was excellent. He was attentive, helpful, and gave great recommendations. His sense of humor helped to make the night even better. The fall drink menu was fantastic. The Salted Cantaloupe Spritz is NOT to be missed. Yum! The Crawfish Jambalaya Risotto and Crispy Pork Belly were truly better than I thought they would be. Such dimensional flavor. Dinner was definitely the highlight of my birthday.
This our go to place for our monthly date night. Love the atmosphere, drinks, food, and the service is always excellent. Great menu. love the happy hour drinks.
As usual......excellent food, service, timing and value. We have traveled the world and know what excellence in the food industry is. The District is the best kept secret on the Gulf Coast. God help us if the rest of the world finds out.
