I’ve driven by a few times and it’s easy to miss but definitely worth going. Cool garage/vintage atmosphere with plenty of indoor/ outdoor seating and parking. Service is friendly and quick. The el dirte’ burger was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The minced onions and peppers with the made from scratch queso is an amazing flavor combo. Got regular fries and they were like shoestring-esque and awesome but will try them el dirte style next time. Didn’t notice they had wings, cheese sticks, Rueben’s, and more so will have to go back and try. I lived closer, I’d go more often. Highly recommend.

Best burger we have found yet since moving to the area! The hand cut fries were delicious as well. Freshly made frozen lemonade was simply refreshing. The owner was the cook and was so attentive and kind, as was the man that took our order. On top of all that, the prices were very reasonable. Bathrooms and place were clean as well. Highly recommend!

It's great. The frosted lemonades are not too tart and not too sweet. The burgers are good - they are skinny patties on soft buns with pickles on top. The fries are skinny, sometimes over seasoned, but still good.

The hot dog is also good. The bun is soft.

They might close up early if it's cold and they've been slow, but it's worth a return trip.

I like the open dining area, although I'm sure if they are busy it gets loud. We usually get take out.

The Drop In is exactly the kind of place that reminds you why supporting local businesses matters. We accidentally showed up right after 6 PM, which is when they close, fully expecting to be turned away. Instead, we were met with genuine kindness and were told they would still make us food even though the kitchen had already closed. That alone would’ve earned our respect — but the experience didn’t stop there.

The food was absolutely outstanding. Hands down, one of the best burgers we’ve had in Pensacola. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly made with care and pride. You can tell this isn’t just another fast food joint— it’s quality food done right. Every bite reinforced that this place takes what they do seriously.

What really sets The Drop In apart is the combination of incredible food and true hospitality. There was no rush, no attitude, just welcoming service and a genuine desire to take care of their customers. It has that rare, authentic local charm that’s hard to find anymore and impossible to fake.

If you’re in Pensacola and looking for a place with amazing burgers, great people, and a memorable experience, The Drop In is a must. We will absolutely be back and will be recommending this spot to everyone we know.

We drove two hours and this was the first dog friendly restaurant (outdoor seating) that we saw. We came in and the owner with his daughters greeted us. The lemonade is delicious and the food was great as well! Highly recommend The Drop In for good food, good drinks, and great service.

Best wings in town IMO. Have had the wings, burger and meatball sub. All were great and friendly service. Cool spot. Really hope they last. Need someone ramping up their social media ASAP and getting online ordering going in today’s market. I fear a good concept and great food won’t get the recognition it deserves due to poor marketing and ease of access. People are lazy nowadays and want to order ahead without talking to people. I’ll keep supporting as long as they’re around.

The food was delicious, the staff courteous and kind, and we weren't rushed out the moment we finished eating. We had a chance to sit and catch up with friends we met up with here.
