Let me just say: WOW! The Lobster Cage has a simple menu, but the items are a unique blend of Thai and New England origins!
Atmosphere: The restaurant is a little whole-in-the-wall with limited seating and a big mom-and-pop vibe! Service: The people here are awesome. We received friendly service, and the orders were prepared so quickly! Menu items: I just got the Warm Lobster Roll with a side of potato salad. The lobster roll was scrumptious (that’s right—I had to find a strong adjective to describe it). They add a lemon on the side to add a varied flavor profile. Also, I’m usually not a big fan of potato salad, but this one was salted and peppered to perfection??
I’ve had a couple of lobster rolls in Pensacola and one in Maine. This place really caters to the New England style and adds its own uniqueness with the Thai infused dishes! I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items like the Lobster Grilled Cheese, Lobster and Thai Infused Pasta, and Lobster Quesadilla!??

I got the "cold" lobster roll (connecticut style), and it was actually warm, which I didn't mind, it was still delicious, just keep that in mind if that's not what you're expecting. The rolls come with a side, and they offer cheddar biscuits, but they're not on the menu, so ask for that when you order.
We had two of the hot lobster rolls. One with coleslaw and one with potato salad. Our rolls were delightful! Had plenty of cold lobster rolls but never a warm one. Full of whole pieces of lobster and dripping with garlic butter! Lobster was cooked appropriately. The potato salad was your standard pre-made restaurant service potato salad. It wasn't bad though. The coleslaw was good. Couldn't tell if it was housemade or pre-made. The service is great and fast and the owner was friendly and funny. You may think it's pricey for a roll, but I feel it's appropriately priced for what you get. Look up what lobster costs. Think then you have possibly cook it and definitely shuck it to get the meat for your dish. Go here and save your time and kitchen! Will be back to try other dishes!
