Best cozy bar downtown. Amazing service, the tuna burger hit the spot perfectly. Nice work Troy and the gang!

The Wine Bar on Palafox is one of downtown Pensacola’s best-kept secrets — though locals like me can’t stop talking about it. Nestled right on historic Palafox Street, it’s that rare mix of upscale and relaxed where you can unwind with a great glass of wine, artisan cheese board, and perfectly cooked steak without the pretense.
The atmosphere is warm, modern, and perfect for date nights, after-work drinks, or even a quiet lunch. Their wine selection rivals anything in the region, and the staff actually knows their stuff — they’ll help you pair like a pro whether you’re a casual sipper or full-blown sommelier. The outdoor seating makes people-watching on Palafox a pastime, especially during Gallery Night or weekend strolls.
For locals, The Wine Bar is a go-to for celebrating wins, catching up with friends, or just slowing down after a long day. If you want to experience the best of downtown Pensacola’s food and wine scene, this is it.

I have been loving this place more and more lately ! The whiskey sours are so good because they don’t use bottled sour mix . The charcuterie boards are phenomenal and so pretty. I recently got the goat cheese napoleon as well and was not disappointed at all! Alyssa at the bar was the sweetest and very attentive! I just love this place !

Absurd prices for mediocre food. The only reason I went back was because I had my dog, it was raining, and they have dog-friendly seating in a covered outdoor alley, so we wouldn’t get wet. Service felt like they were reluctantly doing you a favor. I can’t even explain why the prices are so ridiculous. Maybe the rent is too high? The space and location is their best selling point.

Waitress was awful. 5x5 board was so small now with hardly anything on it. Sub par food! Manager is trash in the way he greeted us .. happy people watching he said as we chose the street. Cigar smoke all the entire time. You need to get your gas looked at as it’s natural gas smell and it says you have a leak. Waitress doesn’t know how to pre bus and needs to get a personality! Thanks but no thanks

Absolutely fantastic food! We didn't have any of the wines, so I can't speak to that but they're baked brie was to die for and their Brunswick stew was amazing too. Taste and texture of everything was fantastic. Extremely flavorful food without being overwhelming. Service was friendly, attentive and generally just top notch.
TLDR: Highly recommended! We will definitely be back when we're back in town. 😁
We ordered grilled Chicken for our toddler, it came out undercooked, basically raw……luckily I checked it before I gave it to him. the waitress was very friendly and switched it for us. My husband ordered a burger, the burger is very delicious. I ordered a soup and a baked Brie as appetizer because I wasn’t too hungry. I’ve had better baked Brie before. So the food didn’t really didn’t meet my expectations for a fancy restaurant like wine bar. I also ordered a cup of wine. The atmosphere is good. We paid over $70, but I felt like it’s not worth the price I paid.

Very good wine list. Only one bathroom for over 20 tables, on Saturday, seems like poor service. The other bathroom was out of service.

Nice cozy spot for wine and people watching. Was seated immediately and didnt seem crowded on a Saturday afternoon. Was seated outside for happy hour and there were probaly another 3 tables with patrons outside. Still took quite a while for us to receive our food. I thought the wait time for food was a bit long in comparison to how empty it was. I ordered the Cuban panini. It was good tasting, pork was a bit dry. The side salad that came with the order was pretty delicious though. They let us have a taste of wine before ordering, which was good and helped us narrow down wine choices. Overall its a good spot for a simple lunch meal.
