First time for us. Food was beautifully presented but flavor was not there. Our food wasn't very hot and my husband brisket was so dry he couldn't finish it. Not a great first impression. The noise level was very loud. Probably our first and last visit. Overall I give it 3 stars. I had the sloppy joe and it was good but nothing special. My friend had the chicken sandwich and her meal was Probably the best at the table.

Always stellar. Blake Rushing is an inspired chef and restaurateur, and imparts his ebullient spirit and joie de vivre to his staff, who all are exceptionally personable and professional. Really stands out as a gem in Pensacola. You can't beat what he does with brisket, collards, and the scotch egg is inspired.

We would definitely come back if visiting Pensacola again! The menu, the vibe, and the service were top notch.

Spicy watermelon margarita... favorite drink in this city. Mussels #1 in the city too. Love this spot

Amazing food and great service and attention. Apps and entrees came out piping hot and fresh. Drinks were top notch. Cool vibe anytime, great for a date night as well.

This was our first visit to the Union Public House. It was my girlfriends birthday and our reservation was made weeks ago with a choice of times . I bring this up because upon arriving with many open booths the hostesses kindly walk us all the way to a smaller table flat out the last one, right next to the kitchen service area . Don't get me wrong, we weren't sitting right up against the ovens , but it was clearly not the best table . This is a loud restaurant for people like me with a hearing issue which I kindly asked the hostess to move us to a booth. She responded they were all taken for larger groups . I understood and we sat down to begin our evening. Fifteen minutes later I turn and they sit a party of 2 in two different booths. These were the exact booths I asked to be moved too. Although I explained my hearing issues and all, apparently it didn't matter . The table near the kitchen I guess was all we qualified for . It didn't ruin our evening as our server Mariah was great even after I explained the table issues and I was not happy about. I also told her do not say anything to anyone as I was just expressing my disappointment. Fast forward to our bill which she kindly comped our appetizer. It was a very sweet gesture as I truly didn't seek compensation just someone to listen to my concerns. Anyways, our meal was delicious and per the great recommendations of Mariah the Seabass and Pork Shank were really good . Honestly , I have a pet peeve about being put at the kitchen area table and it seems to just be my bad luck . But in this case with open tables and being told a story didn't sit well although our evening was very good and we will definitely be returning . This is a pretty loud restaurant and just knowing that going in may help future patrons to not be surprised . Service and food was great so don't shy away from this great downtown Pensacola restaurant.

My wife and I had dinner at Union Public House on October 24. In short, dinner was outstanding!! Jane had scallops and I had the pork chop and both were great. Our server and the manager were awesome. Overall, a great experience.

Hands down a great dining experience for the money. Out server was spot on, gracious and helpful. Wine list has surprisingly excellent prices for Napa favorites! The burrata salad could have been lighter dressed with a smaller burrata ball, but the ahi tuna entree and beef carpaccio were perfectly done. That blueberry dessert was over the top. Our friends who live here recommended, and we'll be back!

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner! This isn't my first time, but it's been a while since my last visit. The food quality is excellent, and the service was outstanding. We started with their small charcuterie board , which is more than enough for two. Then on to dinner, which included steak, collard greens, and the best cornbread I've ever eaten. Really, it's amazing, more like dessert and a simple side of bread. My guest ordered the soba noodles, kale, and Aji tuna. The portions are large. My only ding is that it's a rather loud environment, making it hard to have intimate conversations.

We loved it here! We came for my birthday, and they gave us a hand-written card in response with a complementary dessert. The food and cocktails were incredible. The atmosphere was really great, and we loved our server, Madeline.

Maybe it was just not my favorite place...it wasn't terrible but it wasn't anything special either. The drinks (sangria and coconut rum with pineapple juice and grenadine) were mediocre. The food ( wings, Cesar salad, and scallops ) were well made but again, maybe I just expected more. You get 6 large wings which was a lot of food, 5 or 6 scallops which were delicious, and the orzo carbonara was very good. Our server was prompt and attentive but not overly friendly. I am glad I tried it, but probably wouldn't go back.
