Voodoo BBQ came highly recommended by a co-worker, as I am from Texas and wanted some good BBQ. I ordered the 3 meat plate with Sausage, Ribs and Brisket. What I received was sausage, ribs, and beef fat. The ribs were okay, nothing to write home about. The sausage you can tell is purchased from a vendor as it was the best thing on the plate, and the “brisket” I received was pure fat. No where have I ever gone to a BBQ establishment and ordered brisket and received chopped brisket as a meat on a 3 meat plate. Save yourself time and money and look elsewhere for good BBQ

We came here about 10 years ago and weren't impressed, but we tried it again on a Thursday afternoon for a late lunch. It's just as bad as we remembered. I chose the shrimp po boy, which was frozen shrimp instead of fresh local Gulf shrimp. My wife tried the BBQ ribs which were mediocre at best. The restaurant was so cold inside that our food got cold before we even got half way through the meal. We won't be back.

This is my second time ordering. The first was a small catering at the company I work for. 2 days later I ordered delivery. I could easily write a novel about how amazing the food is. I ordered all kinds of items the second time. The red beans and rice is amazing! The jambalaya is amazing! The sausage is off the chain. The baked beans had a kick of spiciness which was pleasantly surprising. The Beignets are phenomenal! Hands down, my new favorite Barbecue restaurant! I don't visit Louisiana very often and I love Creole/Cajun food. VooDoo is spot on. Since it's located close to where I work, best believe I will be getting lunch from VooDoo often!
