I’m not sure exactly how to rate the food since I was not able to eat what I ordered. We were the only customers in the restaurant and we were promptly meet at our table and our drink order was placed. We ordered our food after getting our drinks. Once our food arrived at our table, the young woman on the grill started cleaning the grill with a chemical that smelled horrible and filled the restaurant with a haze of smoke. I have asthma and I immediately felt as if I couldn’t breathe. My daughter started coughing and felt as if she was going to be sick. We immediately went outside for fresh air and left my husband to pay the bill for the food we didn’t get a chance to eat. The two employees seemed not to care that we could not stay and eat because of the environment that was created by the chemicals. Dear Waffle House, please instruct employees not to use such harsh chemicals to clean, especially with customers in the restaurant.

I will not give the 1 star review they deserve. But after waiting 1 1/2 hrs the lady at the counter lied to my wife about her order. It never got placed. I understand the pressure there under. But instead of fixing the problem we got our money back and left without food. I was very unhappy with the service received by this employee. I'm not using names because I don't want anyone fired. But I probably wouldn't be back for while

The crew that's working January 21, 2025, needs a raise. They have been an amazing crew today. I'm pretty sure they were the morning crew, the evening crew, and possibly the night crew. Upper management, these guys need acknowledgment. Way to go, staff. Thanks for pur lunch and great service while I'm sure you are tired.
