The slaw was good, the fried oysters were OK, the baked potato was way over cooked, the waitress was very friendly but didn't check on our table enough. I would go back for the entertainment, it was GREAT!!!

If you're looking for oysters on the half shell, swamp cabbage or any other local fish fried to perfection this little place is the place you're looking for, as there considered one of the top 3 restaurants in the area if not number one, and for good reasons as there food is delicious!! There definitely one of the places I like to stop at every time I get down to Florida in that area, and I'm sure if you stopped you would see why to after having some of there sea food

We were on a motorcycle trip through Florida in 2023 and came upon this restaurant on our gps and it had great reviews. We decided to stop in and were welcomed at the door. The place is quaint, authentic and just the type of restaurant we enjoy visiting. We are from Louisiana and seafood is something we eat on a regular basis. The food here was great and the service was excellent. This year (2024) we were on our way from Louisiana to KeyWest for a Half Marathon. Without hesitation we put Perry, FL and Deals on the list of places to re-visit. We enjoyed it the same this year as we did on our first visit. Make sure to stop in and eat if you are near the Perry area.Parking: Parking lot is covered with oyster shells and plenty of room.
No Adult Beverages at this place!!How can you have Oysters without BEER or WINE????Food given 3 stars, oysters and crackers were good, had to ask for horseradish and lemon tho.Service given 2 stars, brought one order of oysters...we ordered 3,,,20 minutes later brought the other two orders. Ordered food, only brought 2 persons meal (party of 4), those 2 finished eating and other 2 persons still did not receive their meal. Sat there for 30 minutes, wait staff came back every 10 minutes saying food will be coming in a few minutes. Other people got seated after us, had appetizers, food, and had left, AND WE STILL DID NOT GET OUR MEAL!!!!WE WENT AND PAID FOR OUR OYSTERS AND WATER....and left. Oh you are wondering.....as we were paying the bill, the cashier says your food is now ready...told cashier to keep it, we are leaving....No discount, no appology...hence NO TIP!!!!!Atmosphere was given 2...very noisy, couldn't hear person across the table from us.All in all...oysters were good!

Every time anyone walks into the restaurant an employee shouts out loudlyThe best people in the world walks through those doors!Good southern hospitality and a menu to match. We stopped in the first time just to try something different but now we stop because it is different than other places.A good variety and good food!
