Food was decent, but the service left much to be desired. Coffee was 5 bucks a cup, and if you aren't bilingual, good luck with any communication with the servers.

Worst Mexican food ever

If you haven't been here recently, give them another try. We went for lunch today (12/02/25).

We started with chunky Guacamole to go with our chips and salsa. The salsa had a lot of flavor and the guac was really good with onions and tomatoes mixed in with the chunks of avocado.

My steak fajitas and Kelli's chicken enchiladas were both a solid 8 out of 10. The food arrived quickly and my fajitas were sizzling on the hot plate.

The service was really good. Our server spoke English very well and got our entire order correct the first time. He had someone assisting him who kept our drinks and chip basket full.

The absolute best part, however, is the addition of the coffee bar with Tiffany as the barista. We each got a coffee creation to go. I got the gingerbread iced latte special she created and it was fantastic!

Keep up the good food and service Old Mexico and we will be back.

So I ordered a chile relleno and guess what? The bottom of the plate had SOAP 🧼 Still from the dishwasher, and the wiring part I had to still pay for it! Guys at the oil change advised me not to go there again, to try casa GRANDE instead and they were totally RIGHT!!! ORALE! No VUELVO an old Mexico 🇲🇽!!!!!!!! !

Language issues waiter could not understand me ended up leaving and because we didn’t order a meal we were charged for the chips and salsa

We enjoyed ourselves until it was time to pay, we wanted to split the bill andit was unorganized. The host was rude, we had to basically reorder our food and the host was so busy trying to tell us who should pay for what that he couldn't listen! The bill wasn't split correctly, it was a lot of confusion and he was nonchalant about the situation. Thought about going back but, after the bill paying situation I will not be returning

I’ve had alot of Mexican food from alot of different places around the world and Old Mexico delivers on taste and price. Sometimes when I order a steak quesadilla or a steak fajita from somewhere else, I think about Old Mexico’s while I’m eating it. The chips and queso are a must. Arguably the best queso on planet earth and the salsa is delicious if you’re not in love with cilantro like me, it’s perfect. The first round of chips and salsa is always complimentary and not every place does it like that anymore. Sometimes the waiters can be a bit shy if they don’t speak good English but they’re very attentive. Highly recommend.

Supposed to be able to register for a drawing on Mothers Day, hostess said she didn't know anything about it. It definitely was in Perry News paper this week. RIPOFF AND FALSE ADVERTISING

I have eaten at the one in Steinhatchee twice now and the food was awful. First time order chicken nachos. There was barely any cheese on them. Second time I ordered taco salad add guacamole. No guacamole, barely any beans and no cheese, no salsa. Was not impressed at all. I do not think I will be retuning.
