I'm only rating the food and service because I ordered through Uber Eats. To be fair, the rice and beans, fried chicken, and macaroni that I ordered for someone else were all really good. However, I also ordered a side of white rice and a side of sòs pwa (bean sauce) for myself and it was poor quality. The white rice was stiff and tasteless and the sòs pwa tasted like something they poured out of a can, warmed up and packaged. I was so disappointed. I can't say I won't order from there again but I won't be ordering white rice and sòs pwa. I would have preferred if they had made those items unavailable on the app if they weren’t able to deliver better quality that day.

I am visiting from California and haven't had Oxtails in a long time. I ordered the Oxtail Plate, Akra side dish, & Macaroni and Cheese side dish. Maybe it is a lack of knowledge on food portions, there was a HUGE Portion of Rice (it was supposed to be Rice and Beans but one could only see the Rice with very FEW Beans...Beans are not very expensive so I couldn't understand the lack of Beans in the Rice). The Salad Portion was very small with one tomato, a slice of red onions, with a couple pieces of Lettuce. The Oxtails were DROWNING in OIL, Oxtails already have fat on them so there is no need to add more OIL to cook the Oxtail or make the Sauce. The Macaroni and Cheese was OILY and had no taste. The Akra was ok.
Knowledge on Spices, Calories, and Food Portions is essential to obtain when running a Restaurant.

I ordered from DoorDash and the food was trash. I have never had Haitian food this bad but j a very long time. The griot was not fresh and tasted spoiled. The diri jonjon had no season or salt. Overall, this was a terrible experience. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I ordered through DoorDash . Food came fast but after reading all the reviews, my legume was very light in color .. I don’t recall legume being light in color ; I really hope my food isn’t old because as a business that would be nasty of you .

First time I ordered griot with duri a djondjon, the rice was ok but the griot, was nasty it was definitely 3-4 days old, so i said ill give them another chance i ordered legumes with white rice and sauce poi, the white rive was the only thing i could eat, the sauce poi tasted burnt and the legumes was not good, i will say though they packed everything so well .Haitian restaurants need to do better, stop feeding people spoiled food , if you wouldnt eat it, DONT SERVE IT

The oxtail here is BIG. My wife and I ordered at 8 PM and they still had oxtail! I asked for extra piklis and the staff was kind enough to provide. Island Jam was here to serve us when other Haitian restaurants had cancelled our order. Very thankful for this tasty meal.

I lost my taste. I ordered from this restaurant for $60. I throw everything away.
Mwen order pou $60 manje. Chak grenn marinade moun yo se kont pou lagew atè si yon moun ta baw kout youn nan yo. Akra yo mou mou,san gou. Sos pwa domi,diri pa gen on gou. It is so disgusting! How can someone open a restaurant and can't even fry a plantain.
Since it's pine hills....that's fine.But never again.
