Today my grandson and I went to Pinecrest Bakery in Pinecrest to place a catering order and met the owner, Efrain Valdes. It is our family’s go to bakery and sandwich shop in Miami because the food has never changed since the day they opened and it is always fantastic. During our conversation with Efrain, he found out my grandson is in the military and based in Boston. He genuinely and profusely thanked my grandson for his service. This Pinecrest bakery location and the new one in Coconut Grove is great. Convenient and good coffee and pastries. Nice sitting area. Also the staff is very friendly and attentive especially Ana Mariam and Melanie. Thank you for the great service.
