While we have had a positive experience at the other Buttermilk Eatery location, this one left something to be desired after a rather disconcerting interaction with the Owner, Bob. My artist who is well-known in the local community as a singer, songwriter, and recording artist, stopped in to order some food. It was a rather hot day, and she had driven her Slingshot there and parked a bit away, requiring her to walk to get to the restaurant. She had called in and spoke with a lovely young lady, Selena who informed her that she could order online or come in. Selena was a gem. My artist went inside and because she was hot, she was fanning herself with the menu. Bob walked over and told her he would take that, and she informed him she was not done ordering yet. He informed her that the menus are not to be used for fanning. She was taken aback by this, and when he walked away she asked Selena to please get him, so she could speak with him. He allegedly could not be disturbed. A couple leaving the restaurant commented on how rude he was to her. When she shared this story with me I called to have a discussion with Bob. Selena told me he was not there. I told her I did not want to put her in the middle, but I knew he was there and explained the interaction that just occurred. Bob came to the phone immediately. He validated that this was exactly what he said but stated if it was because she was hot, that would be something different. I did not understand what other reason someone would be fanning themselves for. He proceeded to tell me that their menus are used between customers, to which I stated I am sure that is the process throughout the day. But I did not understand why he had to approach her so abruptly. I would gather the menus are sanitized, but I did not ask. I recommended he seek to understand what is happening in a situation before he addresses someone in an unkind way from a customer service perspective. While he extended his apologies to her, he still stood by his actions. We are disappointed that the owner of this establishment would treat any person this way. This is very disheartening, and when sharing this with others it has prompted many of our colleagues and friends to rethink ever going to either location since he owns both of them. While good food is appreciated, quality customer service and a little bit of kindness is what people are looking for.

OK, so this was odd. You sit down and a 'server' comes over and asks if you've been there and if not then (legitimately so) tells you how the menu and your order is placed and paid for on a tablet at the table. I asked for a regular menu I could hold and read and they have those and she brought a couple. Placed our orders and it gives the tip option at the end, which is odd because you haven't even gotten your food yet. Who and what am I tipping if Im placing my own order and a little robot is rolling around bringing food to the tables? We had 2 seperate orders and I'd ordered 2nd on the tablet, so when the first order of food came out the server comes over and moves the food from the robot to the table. Well, it was my food and a few bites into it my co-worker realizes it's not what he'd ordered after the robot comes again and the server comes over and moves the 2nd order (1st really) of food to our table and I'm looking at it thinking 'that doesn't look like what I ordered...', so they remade my order, and it was quick.
To the owner - Do yourself a favor, at least ditch the robot. If the server had taken our orders she'd have known who ordered what. I honestly was confused as to how to tip, I felt like the waitress was not even needed.
Pancakes were without a doubt the driest pancake I'd ever eaten, my co-worker tried a bite and agreed. They had good flavor, the corn beef hash skillet was really good, and the coffee was really exceptional, some of the best hot coffee I've had in quite a while. Didn't finish the pancakes they were so dry.
Won't be going back, honestly just don't want to deal with the tablet and robot gimmick, if they got rid of that and had traditional service I'd go again.

It is pretty good but I don’t like how there is not an option for light ice it has robots giving people food but it’s good service and I have been going here for a year now.

My new go-to place for breakfast. I got service today by the coolest little robot ever. Pancakes are fluffy, not stuffy. Omelets are Hugh. Try it, you'll like it.

I've only ordered the Mediterranean omelet, but it's delicious and I'll order it again! I like how quiet it is and the little robot food runner is adorable!

This place is fantastic, I feel like I’m in the movies. The food portions very generous. I had my 2 kids with me and we could have shared 1 plate. The food was awesome, the staff is GREAT, we had Kayla and Sylvana as our waitresses and they were awesome! 😎 the robot that brings your food makes you feel like you’re in the Jensen’s! Super cool! 10/10 recommend! Plain pancakes and pancakes with chocolate chips! We loved them!

The food was very mediocre. The pancakes hallow and lacked moisture. The French toast was extremely sweet, bacon very hard. The eggs, fruit, and coffee were okay.

I will not be eating here again.

I ordered takeout from the Pinellas Park location and got the biscuits and gravy with an over-easy egg. The egg was packaged directly on top of the biscuits and gravy. By the time I opened it, the yolk had completely popped, diluted the gravy, and soaked through the biscuit. It was extremely unappetizing.

I called simply to give feedback — I wasn’t asking for a refund or anything free. I was polite and asked for a manager. The person who answered told me I could proceed. As I began explaining what happened, he cut me off and said, “That’s how it’s plated. If you look at the picture, that’s how it’s plated.”

I then asked if he wanted to be right or lose me as a customer. His response was, “I want to be right. That’s how it comes.” Then he hung up on me.

If this person isn’t an owner, management should seriously reconsider who is representing the business. If he is an owner, he should consider some customer service training.

For context, I worked as a server, bartender, and manager for over ten years. I rarely call to complain about anything. I was just looking forward to this meal after a very long night with our sick son.

The food issue was disappointing. The response was worse.

Super fun and delicious food. The robots helping deliver food with Jetsons music were a huge hit in my book! Brandy was so helpful and kind. There is still absolutely a personal touch, which I wasn’t sure of when ordering. Everyone was wonderful!
