It was a truly nice experience; but it can definitely be better for a date night. The food was amazing; from the appetizers to the main course. The service was okay. The only thing was I wish they make better drinks. I remember coming here before and having a good time at the bar. This time we were seated on the booth; and we had an okay dining experience. I wish they serve better drinks.

Fantastic experience! The menu and food were outstanding! Hard to choose with so many yummy options! The service was excellent. Would go back again and again!

Our server was excellent and went beyond to make sure we got our order in ahead of a large party that just arrived. Two of us had chicken salad and it was delicious and hearty. Two had the sushi item and it was good not great. The noise level is very high and we also had a really loud person sitting near us which made it more annoying. Otherwise great service (wish I could recall his name) and we had a lovely time once we figured out how to accommodate the noise level.

This evening was special because of the great service provided by Giovanni and the "bus boys." The G. was friendly, informative, and attentive as were the BBs. I like the menu at Parkside: some creative dishes and some "standards" (steak, salmon, sea bass, chicken, short ribs). Dishes were ample, reasonably priced, and platted nicely. Appreciated the willingness of the restaurant to make changes to items on the menu to accommodate food allergies and customer preferences. This is the 2nd time here and I will go back.

We had another good experience at Los Gatos Parkside on New Years Day. We ordered devilled eggs and hush puppies as starters, followed by sandwiches. 3 friends ordered the turkey sandwich, which they declared was delicious. One had the chicken salad sandwich, which was tasty, but had to be eaten with a knife and fork. The bread was falling apart, and the sandwich had a lot of greens in it - perhaps it would be better to have them as a little side salad on the plate. Our water glasses were frequently topped off, which was a very nice feature. We really enjoyed our server, Naomi, who was friendly and efficient, and who took time to have a nice conversation with us. Lunch at Parkside was a nice way to start 2026!

Loved eating here on New Years Eve, while I think the price vs service provided was a little off, we had a lot of fun.

We had requested a booth as 2 of our guests are hearing impaired. When we checked in we were told none available. There was one table for four near the outside and kitchen. The hostess assistant checked again and we were offered a half booth and table for two in the back room next to a large party. We took the table for 4 but had a hard time hearing one another all evening.

Ambience and food are great - great decor. It was very busy - so glad I made a reservation on Open Table! All staff were friendly except for our waitress who automatically tipped herself 20%! We ordered Hush Puppies (13.), Delicata Squash (14.) and Cashew Chicken Salad (28!) which were all very good. I feel it's pricey for what you get and considered it a splurge to eat here but I'd return.

The parklet dining experience was warm and lovely, even on a chilly December night. Service was a little slow, but we were in no rush. The food was excellent. We ordered the crab cake special and the avocado bruschetta as appetizers - both were delicious and well-plated. For the main course, my husband ordered the burger, which he raved about, and I had the ravioli, also good. Dessert was the pumpkin bread pudding ... yum! Would have loved to have ended the meal with a latte, but their coffee menu is limited to caf/decaf brewed. Overall, a great dinner out!

It was our first time here and all 5 of us loved it! We each had a different entree and all had a different dessert. Everything was divine and the wine we chose was perfect. Our server was gracious and attentive - we will definitely be back!

We all loved the Lettuce Cups. The special Maine lobster and crab sliders were excellent as well. Shared salads (Grain Bowl and Fall Superfood) were also well received. I wish there were a better pinot noir by the glass option. However, the mood was festive and the service was friendly and fun.

Watered down gin and tonic, did not dare to order it again. Took forever to get replacement drinks. My entire crusted Salmon dish was served cold, I was so hungry I just ate it and did not want to hold up my friends from their dinner. It was birthday celebration and nothing was brought to the table and Parkside knew beforehand of this. Over all, not even a decent dining experience.

Always exceptional in every way! So happy that it is open for lunch. Only negative is impossible Los Gatos parking. Can't the city build a multistory garage. If it has to be remote they could at least have valet parking.

It's a popular restaurant, so reserve ahead of time! Some of the starters are especially memorable, such as the short rib bites and the lettuce shrimp cups. They are helpful in splitting plates without an extra charge. Really liked the basil infused potato puree under the salmon. Interesting and tasty cocktails.

We had a birthday dinner and Parkside was out of the special and smash burger at 5:30? Then my daughter's dish tasted off she said so she sent back. Our server Lexie said the staff even tasted it in the kitchen and agreed. Lexie comped her salmon meal and was very gracious. She is a very good server. A bit strange for food last night though. Our salmon was good. Excellent mocktails. No one drank. Overall pleasant.
