Route 66 Diner is a small place with large personality and a super cute atmosphere. The staff is friendly, bubbly, and outgoing, taking great care of their customers. The diner offers an excellent gluten-free selection without an upcharge, which is greatly appreciated. Guests love the food, recommending the Italian, waffles, apple turnover, GF chicken & waffles, pies, grilled cheese, cheese steak, apple fritter, and the breakfast burrito. The Philly fries and tots are also noted. While most items are exceptional, some reviews were mixed on the steak sub and the Cuban sandwich. Overall, it is a loved place where many plan to return, even for a dessert-only trip to share the hubcap.
