My wife and I stopped in here on a whim last week for a quick glass of wine. We spoke to many regulars who raved about the food and every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly. We did not eat during this stop but we're definitely going back the next time we're in the area.

An extremely pleasant surprised it was recommended by a friend with Italian heritage. Not your typical Italian restaurant fair. Will definitely be back. It’s great to have a restaurant of this quality in Placida!

Great experience once again, great food and drinks, Teresa was our server and she was very attentive and friendly, Finn always makes great drinks!!! I recommend apulia if you're looking for great food drinks, and atmosphere! It's a Gem

Had the pork chop and it was excellent. If you are a Pchop aficionado as I am you don't want to pass on this one. My wife had the lobster ravioli and it was good, not great. In all, nice to see the owner out with the guests, solid menu, will be back for certain.

So happy chef found a new home and it's much nicer than the old place. If you like Caesar salad their Romano salad is one of the best. Fish is superb here.

Another delicious meal at Apulia! My swordfish was prepared perfectly, juicy and tender with mango chutney topping and roasted potatoes. My wife loved her salmon and it was served hot but rare, just as she prefers. Good wine and a nice server topped off the evening. It's a tough decision to not order the veal piccata but when she announced the swordfish special I was hooked!

My wife has several food allergies and even presented a card with details to the server, Jill before ordering her meal. She said she would take it back and check with the kitchen about what she could have. She then came back and advised my wife of her options but they were ones that the card clearly showed she couldn't have. She went back again to the kitchen to clarify before advising that the kitchen could handle the entree with the restrictions. When the entree was brought to the table it had tomatoes in it which were very clearly a restriction. My wife just decided to remove them since the server said they were added to the broth at the end and not cooked into the meal. The server said they had not seen so may restrictions for one person before. We have been to The Cool Pickle several times for lunch and dinner and they have handled her restrictions much easier than your server did. I would expect a high end establishment that charges on the high side for dishes to be better trained and equipped to handle food allergies. The meals were very average for the price and needless to say we have no plans to return.

Quality of my food was poor. Service was not quite up to what we're used to. Our waiter was basically bar tender so not concentrating on us that we had to ask for bread etc. We brought bottle of wine n ccorkage fee was &20 n our friends brought their bottle. At end they wanted to charge us n friends $20 each plus $30 for second bottle. Problem was they had 1 bottle to share themselves n my husband n I had 1 bottle to share together. They finallly took off tge extra $30 each n only charge us $20 each couple which was right thing to do.

Our reservation was for 715 and the restaurant was extremely busy. We were able to get a seat at the bar fortunately. After checking back with hostess at 745 then 815 (one hour after our reservation) and still no table we ended up eating at the bar which for a party of five limits the comraderie and purpose of eating together. Food as always was great as were the bartenders I was happy they were so busy but need to better manage reservations and patron flow
