El Pilón Criollo Food Truck

Over priced, not too friendly people inside and didnt have everything that is displayed on the menu

Made a pit stop hours before the BTS concert. Very delicious food! Very sweet and patient, as it was our first time at the truck. Willing to make a few changes to adapt to taste, e.g. instead of mofongo with octopus, it was mofongo with shrimp with a medium cup of octopus salad. Those who took our order are bilingual, so we were comfortable communicating in either language while they treated us with politeness; they were also attentive and asked if anything else was needed even after the we started eating. Mindful of the occasional train or cars passing by, which make it hard to hear, but otherwise a quiet ambience with salsa music in the background. Definitely recommend for a taste of home and would repeat if we come back to Tampa. Love it!!!😋

Tuve la oportunidad de comer en El Pilón Criollo en Devon, Florida, y honestamente la experiencia fue excelente de principio a fin. La comida estaba riquísima, llena de sabor y con ese toque casero Cada plato estuvo delicioso y se notaba la calidad de los ingredientes. Además, los precios son perfectos, muy razonables para la calidad y la cantidad de comida que sirven. Definitivamente vale cada centavo. Lo que más me gustó, aparte de la comida, fue el trato de los dueños. Me atendieron de una manera muy especial, fueron súper amables, atentos y conversadores. Se nota que son personas humildes. Sin duda recomiendo este food truck al 100%. Si están por Davon, Florida, tienen que pasar por El Pilón Criollo. ¡Volveré pronto!

Passing through Lakeland looking for a quick bite to eat and found this little gem. We ordered 2 Pincho which was good size and 2 Alcapurria that was big and I had a passion fruit drink. Food came out quick and food was hot and delicious. I dont live close by but I will have to make a weekend trip back.

Good Puerto Rican food with good and clean service

last night we had the Christmas platter it was delicious there was so much food the price is fair it was not expensive the people were super nice and after we ordered the food it came out pretty quick as well we didn't have to wait that long I'm definitely going back

Its is hard to find really good Hispanic food especially in Plant City they exceeded my expectation. Amazong food I definitely recommend.

This is authentic puertorican flavor! The empanadas are packed, the rice was so delicious like the grandmas make!! The pasteles were stuffed and delicious!! The natural juices were definitely top of the line! If you like Mavi, here is where you need to go.
