I grew up in Tampa from 45 years and this is the best place in plant City for a Cuban sandwich and possibly Tampa. Everything else on the menu is excellent as well, just a great place.

No crab on a Saturday. Their deviled crabs are to die for but I was disappointed that they didn’t have any this visit. Employee needed a description of a traditional “Tampa Cuban” which seemed odd at a place called “Ole Tampa Cuban”. Sandwich was delicious though.

The food is good and the service is friendly. We've had black beans and rice, traditional Cuban, and crab roll. All have been good. However there is a small issue of no great consequence but irksome. The added prompt for at tip at checkout is annoying enough but on top of that when you do tip, they calculate the tip after adding tax. There is no table service here. You place your order at the counter and take out or eat at one of the tables, after which you're expected...
