“We had a party of 20 yesterday, April 30, 2023 & it was packed but you know we just visited with one another & got in within 45 minutes. As usual the food (everything that we all ate) was delicious ‼️ Going on Wednesday to try out breakfasts ♥️“

“Food is always great. Service, well each time I go it is a long Wait, but this time was too long. I went into the restaurant about 5:15 PM on a Tuesday, no one was in the restaurant except for Six employees. I ordered two large chicken salad and there were no containers in the display case so they had to make them. They took my order and had me pay and then three girls proceeded to have a conversation behind the counter and no one was in the kitchen. Then all of a sudden two guys and a woman show up in the kitchen, but did more talking than service. It took me well over 20 minutes for them to just put some chicken salad in a container and hand it to me. Each time I’ve been there it’s been very slow service. I’m all for enjoying when you work where you work, however, your customers should truly come first. I hope the service improves, the food is great.“

“Went to the Lakeland Fred’s the other day with my old auntie who lives in the area. I’m a Riverview Fred’s but this one was pretty good. They had the Swiss steak and gravy which I have never seen at my Fred’s. I sure do love it (hint-hint, clue -clue).Steak was tender and the gravy perfect. I wanted to go back for more but I have limited myself in order to keep this girlish figure. In keeping with tradition, the buffet was plentiful. It was like an old school family reunion or Sunday dinner after church at your granny’s. Fried and baked chicken and fish, ribs, chicken and dumplings, mashed potato’s, rice, grits, black eyed peas with snaps, tomatoes, tomatoes and okra, cabbage, greens, fried green tomatoes, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, corn casserole, corn bread, yeast rolls, green beans, a full old fashion salad bar, soups, and a dessert bar. I feel like heading back over there right now. It was good, let me tell you. If you like southern food you won’t go wrong at Fred’s.“

“I had the pleasure of dining in the Valrico restaurant and tho my review is not all pleasant the results of my issue was pleasant...My mom and I came in for dinner after her Chemo Treatment...Our waitress Bianca was very nice...we ordered our food a Pancake breakfast and Pot Pie...as we waited some time we noticed that tables whom were seated after us were getting their food...well after the 3rd table was served I finally called our waitress over to ask how long would it be she politely responded I'm checking on it now...so I asked could I please speak with a manager...The reason being is that I felt I didn't need to address the waitress because she was going to continue serving us and I didn't want the tension between us...The manager came out can't remember her name I explained to her that we had been waiting quite a while for our food and in the meantime no one said anything to us of why it's taking so long...she apologized and offered us freebies to our satisfaction...We refused the freebies because we wanted what we ordered we didn't come to get anything free...To my surprise she was very professional listened to our problem with a pleasant attitude...Even tho we refused she brought dessert to the table..just wanted to say Thank you to not only her but also Bianca I will definitely be back again...The our dinner was amazing...“

“I was Amazed to see customers with dogs in an open restaurant where dishes are buffet style. It turned me off because dogs should not be in restaurants where people are dining. Dogs carry germs and other bacteria. This should not be allowed in Any restaurant even if they are service dogs. There should be limits placed on animals in food places. Don't 4get people dogs are not human. They are ANIMALS and they walk on dirty grounds with 4 feet. Also there are people that are allergic to dogs, afraid of dogs and can't be around them for medical purposes. Let's stop being selfish with animals. Just because you may love them others may not. Consideration Must be extended.“

“This has been our been our go to for over a year. Food quality was good, service quick & Josie is an Angel. However, we’ve been there 2 of the last few weekends. First time, a cook & a waitress were arguing in the kitchen & she walked out after 10 mins screaming. Today the same thing only it was 2 males dropping the f-bomb over & over. I told Josie I don’t think we’ll be back for a while. I go to relax on a weekend & enjoy. Sorry but that’s my experience.“
