“We had a party of 20 yesterday, April 30, 2023 & it was packed but you know we just visited with one another & got in within 45 minutes. As usual the food (everything that we all ate) was delicious ‼️ Going on Wednesday to try out breakfasts ♥️“

“Decided to try this spot after checking online to see if there was a vegetarian option.

The food was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the space is bright and airy.

The spicy pimento option on the wheat berry bread was delicious. Next time, I may ask for extra lettuce to lighten it up a bit, as it was a bit salty for my taste. I had the side of broccoli salad without bacon and it was also very good. I was told the lemon basil chicken salad was very good. The side Mac and cheese was also yummy! I would've loved to have the croissant, but was trying to opt for a slightly healthier option :)

Drink options include sodas, 3 kinds of freshly brewed iced teas, lemonades and even vitamin water!

Happy we gave it a try. We will be back!“

“The owner was nice and server too ! However please note that the steak tips are actually roast beef & my husband was disappointed. The hamburger steak that I ate was extremely dry and the country fried steak that my MIL ordered was flat, thin and tasted precooked / frozen quality. We love supporting small businesses and appreciate unique diners. Hopefully this one can pick up on true southern American cuisine.“

“WOW! I love me some Fred's Restaurant! A wonderful buffet either all kinds of good old-fashioned comfort food like fried chicken, meat loaf, fried catfish, etc. A huge salad bar and desert station is there too. I highly recommend Fred's!“

“I had the pleasure of dining in the Valrico restaurant and tho my review is not all pleasant the results of my issue was pleasant...My mom and I came in for dinner after her Chemo Treatment...Our waitress Bianca was very nice...we ordered our food a Pancake breakfast and Pot Pie...as we waited some time we noticed that tables whom were seated after us were getting their food...well after the 3rd table was served I finally called our waitress over to ask how long would it be she politely responded I'm checking on it now...so I asked could I please speak with a manager...The reason being is that I felt I didn't need to address the waitress because she was going to continue serving us and I didn't want the tension between us...The manager came out can't remember her name I explained to her that we had been waiting quite a while for our food and in the meantime no one said anything to us of why it's taking so long...she apologized and offered us freebies to our satisfaction...We refused the freebies because we wanted what we ordered we didn't come to get anything free...To my surprise she was very professional listened to our problem with a pleasant attitude...Even tho we refused she brought dessert to the table..just wanted to say Thank you to not only her but also Bianca I will definitely be back again...The our dinner was amazing...“

“I was Amazed to see customers with dogs in an open restaurant where dishes are buffet style. It turned me off because dogs should not be in restaurants where people are dining. Dogs carry germs and other bacteria. This should not be allowed in Any restaurant even if they are service dogs. There should be limits placed on animals in food places. Don't 4get people dogs are not human. They are ANIMALS and they walk on dirty grounds with 4 feet. Also there are people that are allergic to dogs, afraid of dogs and can't be around them for medical purposes. Let's stop being selfish with animals. Just because you may love them others may not. Consideration Must be extended.“

“This has been our been our go to for over a year. Food quality was good, service quick & Josie is an Angel. However, we’ve been there 2 of the last few weekends. First time, a cook & a waitress were arguing in the kitchen & she walked out after 10 mins screaming. Today the same thing only it was 2 males dropping the f-bomb over & over. I told Josie I don’t think we’ll be back for a while. I go to relax on a weekend & enjoy. Sorry but that’s my experience.“
