My daughter and I were on our way back to the Tampa Airport to fly back to Nova Scotia. We wanted to try the Waffle House but did so much we never got the chance until now. It didn’t disappoint! We ordered a cheesesteak sandwich with onions, mushrooms and jalapeños, biscuit gravy, a breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns and raisin toast. Just for fun we ordered a cinnamon crunch waffle. The food was excellent and my daughter commented on how delicious everything was including the chocolate milk.
Even better than the food was the service! Our server Hayzel was very friendly as she described that serving goes back generations in her family. Her attentiveness to detail was notable and excellent rapport with staff and clients alike.
I would highly recommend a trip to the waffle house, in particular this location!

¡¡The service is not that good but they did hijack their prices big time!!! $20 for a small hamburger with hash browns and a drink and a small tip!!! I know I can get much more food and same or better quality for $20 somewhere else*!!*

⭐️⭐️ I’ve been to plenty of Waffle House locations, and usually, the experience is solid. Unfortunately, this one was a major letdown. The food was good, as expected, but the service really ruined the visit.
My server seemed overwhelmed and forgot about me for a good 10–15 minutes. I had to wait longer than my friend, who ordered after me but somehow got her food first. It got so frustrating that I had to practically beg someone just to get a drink.
It felt like the server was trying to take on more than she could handle and wasn’t letting the other staff help out. Whatever the reason, the lack of communication and attention made the whole experience stressful and disappointing.

Waffle House no longer allows you to take orders over the phone! So I was forced to use waffle House new app! The new app is primitive at best wanted to order a scramble with cheese ham egg and cheese sandwich. On Texas bread. It didn't allow me to go to the Texas bread and it didn't allow me to change from bacon to ham. I also ordered an all-star with bacon there was no bacon and I only noticed that after I got home. Don't think the app should have been unveiled without it being in working order!
As of this point in time this waffle House is significantly better than the one in Seffner. Although they couldn't get the t-bone steak cooked medium rear it was not burnt. Everything at the Seffner waffle House has come out burnt black. The hash browns the steak the bacon and even the eggs. The cook there is terrible his grill is far too hot and burns the food but does not listen. If you see a big huge guy at the grill turn around and go somewhere else!
