Casa Marin Cocina Mexicana

I'm not Mexican but I've eaten at my share of Mexican restaurants including in Mexico City. This feels as close to authentic as it can get and the food is delicious. And to my surprise the staff spoke English. so as a non-spanish speaker that was also very welcoming. I went for the first time during the World Cup Brazil was playing on the large TVs there. The place was packed with a lot of a Brazil supporters and there was a great energy within the space. Unfortunately I was picking up my food to go but I will be back.

Amazing place! Came to see the World Cup soccer game. Mexico vs South Africa. Fun! Even got shots on the house for when they scored a goal!

Great food, great atmosphere, great prices!

I was disappointed with my experience here. I left a 10% tip based on the service I received, but the waitress Carla became visibly upset and told me the restaurant expects or requires an 18% tip as “policy.” Tips should be voluntary and based on customer experience, not pressured or demanded. If the restaurant wants to charge a mandatory service fee, it should clearly state that upfront instead of making customers uncomfortable afterward. Unfortunately, the interaction left a bad impression.

Love the decor in this place . Food and service needs help. The bricket was sooo good.. got the taco but didn't know I could get it as my protein for my meal would have loved it being mentioned somewhere on the menu or by the server. I got the chicken instead and it was just ok.. the yellow rice was underdone and crunchy.. not good.. could not eat it.. drink refills were a struggle.. asked several servers but still waited nearly 15 minutes for a drink refill.. I will come back to try the brisket as my entree protein bc it was so delicious and hope the service was a fluke the first time..

The food is so burnt and gross. They only put lettuce and tomato on the side of my avocado, jalapeno burger.
