CHIM AUTHENTIC THAI AND SUSHI BAR

I go here a lot for both dine-in and take-out. The food is always so good! So many of the menu items can be made vegan just by switching out the protein, which is so easy if you are dining with friends or family who eat plant-based. I highly recommend their curries (all of them) and the stir fry dishes (my favorite is the basil, but the ginger is also really good and the garlic one is really delicious too). And they’ll make it really spicy if you ask for it, which I love.

The sushi and egg rolls were tasty and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the main entrée was a letdown. I ordered the garlic chicken with vegetables, but it lacked flavor, and I couldn’t taste any garlic. The dish was also light on chicken, with only a few small pieces, which made it feel unbalanced.

Had dinner last night at one of my favorite Thai restaurants called Chim Authentic Thai and Sushi. It is located in Plantation, Florida. My favorite dish that I get every time is the Kao Na Kra-Pow with extra Crispy Pork (medium hot). It taste delicious 😋. The chili garlic sauce and basil leaves give it a savory and sweet flavor. The service is always great and the wait staff is always nice, friendly and attentive. I love coming here for a nice relaxing dinner. I highly recommend Chim’s if your looking for an amazing local Thai and Sushi restaurant in the Fort Lauderdale area.

We stumbled upon this charming spot after one of our go-to local sushi restaurants closed down — and we’re so glad we did. My wife and I dine out for sushi 1–2 times a week, and this place has definitely earned a spot on our regular rotation.

Working in customer service myself, I understand that it’s not easy to remember every face that walks through your doors. But what really impressed us was the staff remembering not just us, but our usual order. That kind of attention to detail is rare — and truly appreciated.

Every time we walk in, we’re greeted with warmth and hospitality. The menu isn’t overly complicated, the ingredients are always fresh, and the team is constantly on top of refilling drinks without being asked. They also offer thoughtful recommendations on dishes and rolls, which makes every visit feel personal and elevated.

This is exactly how a restaurant should be run. Great food, great energy, and even better people. Keep up the amazing work — you’ve got loyal customers in us.
