The BEST philly subs in town hands down. Do not let the outside fool you, they are my favorite food stop when I visit south Florida.

Went in and was surprised was even open. No prices except for 10.85 at the bottom next to the chicken sandwich. Ordered three subs 2 Philly cheese steaks and a chicken sandwich. When told $67, I was so shocked and wasn’t sure if I heard heard her right, so I asked her to repeat and she said the same.
No drinks or side and the chicken sandwich was chicken lettuce and tomato $19 even though on the menu it showed a price of $10.85 next to it, but she said no prices are up there. Plus it was a hole I. The wall, dirty and honestly made me uncomfortable to be ordering there in the first place, so that was my sign to leave.
Went to Miami subs and according to the rest of the reviews I made the right choice. WOW!! How this place is still open no idea.

I’ve been a regular customer here and have always been happy with my orders, especially the cheesesteaks. They usually serve a generous portion that fills the 6” bun perfectly. However, this last time, the portion of meat was noticeably smaller than usual, and the sandwich felt underwhelming for the price of $20.63. It seemed like they were running out of meat and trying to stretch it out.

I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, explaining what happened. I was hoping they would offer to remake my sandwich, but instead, they offered a refund. While I appreciate the offer, I would have preferred to enjoy the meal I paid for rather than just getting my money back.

Good customer service means ensuring customers are satisfied with their meals, not just giving them a refund. I hope the restaurant addresses this issue and ensures a consistent experience moving forward.

Food was alright. The ladies were super nice. Place is dirty and the worst part is the price. $20 for the smallest sub. Plus no prices listed anywhere. Horrible business model. Very dishonest

When I was a kid over 40 years, I've wonder what the cheesesteak taste like. I was pleasantly surprised it's in the same locations. As many businesses came and gone Famous Phil's sub still remains. My daughter college graduate is my food critic. She took 1 look at and realized yep this is a good cheesesteak. The look on her face was enough to know we got a winner. I took 1 bite it was amazing, awesome not a lot of grease. This cheesesteak is better than sonny's. My daughter and I will continue buying cheesesteak. I give it 1 billion thumbs up. The staff was super friendly.

Grew up ordering from Fat Freddie’s and went to Famous Phil’s for a sub. I’m sorry, what? Italian sub is $18? No thanks. Ridiculous prices!!! Ask before you order. No prices are listed on the menu board. Now I know why.

It was my first time walking into what I thought was a family run business. I expressed to them that it was my first time there and asked what was the most popular order. They told me it was the Philly cheesecake sandwich so that was what I ordered. The lady began to talk me up to distract me from the price. They rang me up for a regular Philly cheesesteak at $20. Listen, they charged me $20 for a takeout sandwich. It is a run down hole in the wall spot. But they charged me a sit down dining price. They gave me a decent amount of beef but not $20 worth. The sandwich tasted like nothing. Barely any seasonings it was like eating air. I am very disappointed that a business would try to do this to a first time customer. I assume they don't care about loyalty or repeat customers. I could have gotten that same sandwich (much better tasting) at Jersey Mike's down the street for much less but wanted to support a small business. Never again! Do better.

I must say my recent visit to Famous Phil's subs shop exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in I could tell that this family run business was legit. In business for 60+ years, they really do pay close attention to quality. I ordered the steak bomb sandwich and it had plenty of flavor, steak was cooked perfect. Portions were large / enough to eat half and save half for later. One of the best cheesesteaks around and that's not a compliment I toss around lightly. Will def be back.

Originally from Philly. Grew up eating Pats and Steve’s and never in my life did I pay 19 dollars for a 10 inch cheese steak. Actually laughable.43 dollars for two 10 in cheese steaks is crazyy. Regardless of taste, it’ll never be Philly. They don’t even got Wiz.
