My order was the Little Cooper, their Salmon dish; this review would have been much higher if not for 1 glaring problem.
I'll start with the positives:
- Fairly Large Serving Size
- Rice was very mild but nice
- Side Salad went well with the dressing provided
- The sauce the salmon was in had good flavor despite not having any heat it should have had
- The seasoning on the salmon itself was nice
The negative, and why this is a 2 star review, is the way the Salmon was cooked. It was not just overcooked, it was WAY Overcooked; this was one of the driest pieces of Salmon I've ever had, and this is coming from someone who grew up with curry fish. Salmon is one of the fattier fishes around, it should never be this dry, period, especially if it's the focal point of the dish and you're charging people $27.00 for it. It's a real shame cause everything else was fine, nothing to write home about but was perfectly unoffensive.
This place is so delicious I had the escovitch snapper with the rice and beans and salad my goodnesssssssss soooooo good can't wait to go try out more menu items!!!! HIGHLY

The Runaway Bay Rundown was too sweet. Please hold-down on the sugar/sweetner or provide a sugar-free alternative. One love!
Food and service is 10/10. I have never been disappointed with this food. The best Jamaican food in the county.

This restaurant is the BEST JAMAICAN RESTAURANT HERE IN SOUTH FLORIDA. I am not biased this is my honest opinion as a Reviewer. The food is cooked like it's my mother and grandmother in the kitchen whispering in the chef's ear. I ordered the escovitch fish with rice & peas and festival on Monday and again I am here doing it on Friday. This speaks volumes when I am a cook myself. The food is fresh and prepared meticulously. The soup hits the spot as if you are at a Night Night and you have to get the last bowl before it runs out. If you are not able to cook at home just remember this restaurant is able to substitute your home cooking for you. I'm so happy that I was able to find back this restaurant after it changed location. They forever have a customer. Don't take my word for it check it out yourself.

Title: A Seafood Paradise - 5 Stars for the Jamaican Carryout!Review:I recently discovered a hidden gem in the form of a Jamaican seafood carryout-only restaurant, and it was an absolute delight. Here's why I give it a glowing 5-star review:Atmosphere: The restaurant is carryout-only, with no indoor or outdoor seating available. While this may be a downside for some, I found it to be convenient, especially for a quick and delicious seafood fix.Food Quality: We had the pleasure of trying several dishes, and each one left a lasting impression. The fried sweet and sour snapper stole the show with its impeccable seasoning and burst of flavors. The well-prepared rice and peas on the side complemented the fish perfectly.Lobster Sandwich: The lobster sandwich, while not my personal favorite dish, was still a tasty treat. Instead of a traditional sandwich, it resembled a savory lobster cake nestled between buns. While different, it offered a unique twist to traditional seafood fare.Festivals: The festivals, a popular Jamaican snack made from fried dough, were light, fluffy, and incredibly delicious. They provided a delightful contrast of textures and flavors, making them a delightful accompaniment to the main dishes.Seafood Soup: The star of the show was undoubtedly the seafood soup. This spicy marvel was expertly seasoned, boasting a rich and complex flavor profile. It tantalized the taste buds with its perfect blend of spices, leaving us craving more. I can't wait to go back for another comforting bowl of this outstanding soup.Overall Experience: This Jamaican seafood carryout-only restaurant exceeded my expectations on every level. Despite the absence of seating, the flavors, quality, and variety of dishes completely won me over. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an authentic and delicious seafood experience with a Jamaican twist.I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit, not only to savor more of that delectable seafood soup but also to explore their other enticing menu options. This place is truly a seafood paradise.
