My husband and son went in for lunch, the server, was extremely rude. Very nasty and screaming at us when asking what toppings we wanted. He literally said oh this is to go right, ensuring that we weren’t staying and then immediately turned on very loud inappropriate music on the restaurant speakers before walking out the door. Terrible service and the food was a tiny portion, on a large pita. Sloppily made and cold. Terrible service!

Why is this Place still open? Better yet, HOW is this place still open. That's supposed to be a Gyrodilla. Got it home, just a mushy mess.

We decided to try Gyroville Plantation as we recently moved to the area and it was not a pleasant experience. The staff would not honor our coupon for a free build your own pita with the purchase of one build your own pita and two drinks which we purchased. The coupon was from a fundraising book that we purchased and this location is noted on the coupon as a participating location. Paying full price for our two meals was not the biggest issue, however, the attendant was very unfriendly, not helpful, and immediately bagged our food items to go when we planned on eating in. I checked the time to see if we entered the store close to closing time, however it was well before 9pm. The customer service was horrible and now I understand why the establishment was empty when we walked in. The worker made us feel like he was very annoyed that we even walked into the place for dinner.

The Experience

The food was so bad. We ordered the mixed grill platter and a gyro on ubereats. The portion was so small. The meat was old and scrappy, the lamb given was the bits that fall off when slicing. It was stale, the chicken was dry I will never eat here again. Shame on them for serving such bad food. I know they could do better but i won"t be giving them the chance to do so. Will not be eating here again EVER!

Went there today to get a gyro. Saw they had a new Philly Gyro, I asked the lady (white lady or could be spanish with brown hair in a ponytail and glasses) how was the Philly Gyro and what kind of meat was used. She said it would be the regular lamb, so I said I would like a chicken pita. She then started putting some peppers and stuff on the grill. I didn't think anything of it, maybe she was multi tasking or something. She then got some lamb out and put it on my pita. Which I stated it that mine? I asked for a chicken pita. She said "oh that's right", and took the lamb of the pita. She then looked at me and back at the pita, because she didn't want to waste it. I told her that was fine, she can use the sale bread. Then she got a piece of chicken and chopped it up, and asked which tezyki sauce I wanted. After that she handed my pita to the guy who was helping her to finish making my Gyro. He took the pita from her and went to the grill to put those peppers and whatever else she put on the grill earlier on top of my Gyro. I informed him that, that was not what I asked for, I wanted the chicken pita. (The chicken pita you get to tell them what you want on it.) So he asked the lady what I asked for. She told him I want a Philly Gyro. I told the guy I asked for a chicken pita, so I can put what I want on it. The lady keep cutting me off while I was trying to tell the guy what it was I asked for. I told her she is not letting me speak and asked if she could stop cutting me off. She just keep talking and saying we will fix it, and you asked for a Philly. I asked them how if you won't even let me speak. Then I told everyone to have a great day and walked out. Because she just keep trying to tell the guy that I said I wanted a Philly, when I only asked how was the Philly. And how could she fix my order if she would not even let me talk. I have never had to walk out of a place, but she would not just chilli..... apologize and ask what I want on my chicken pita not make me uncomfortable, making the situation more then what it needed to be. When I was being easy-going the whole time didn't get mad, keep the same pita you already put the wrong meat on. Then just trying to let the guy know what the right order should be. Not happy at all with my experience ?

Traditional gyro was just as tasty as I've had in Greece. Service was prompt and courteous. Outdoor seating added great atmosphere. I'd definitely return.

This is unfortunately my second visit to this location and this again is the worst location I have ever visited. The staff is horrible, customer service is no existent and the food is below the usual gyroville quality I am accustomed to. Definitely management needs to have customer service training for these employees. I have never had an employee roll their eyes because I asked a question especially since I ordered a vegetarian platter only to be told that chickpeas which is a normal vegetarian option is not included and to have someone roll their eyes when I questioned why! Will never visit this location and advise anyone reading this not to either. Does staff know that paying customers is why they have a job!!
