Hotel is closed. Green fencing surrounding it. I assume that it will be demolished. Who knows, a Wawa might end up going there in its place.

I actually really enjoy this hotel but for some reason today the customer service was less than poor, I made a reservation online, I called to verify, I called ten minutes later because I had a question, no answer for at least ten to twenty minutes, I even had to get Travelocity involved since there was no answer. They finally answer, I ask about the lack of response from the hotel where my reservation is and if I can confirm my reservation, the rep says “ok” and then puts me on hold for ten minutes which I used that time to write this reservation, she literally just confirmed my reservation as I was finishing this review. As often as I come to this property, and even though I know West Indian women can get in their moods, don’t give me and attitude when I’m a paying customer; that’s crazy to me.

This hotel was the worst. First off the staff is careless and honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if you could get in free. The doors look like they could easily be broken into, even with the keypad. The refrigerator sits on an outdated carpet & has live roaches crawling around it. The room smells like cigarettes. The shower is moldy and also has live bugs (beetles and roaches). The beds have stains in it (looks like pee) you can tell they DO NOT wash the sheets. I did not choose this place, my friends mother did. As soon as we got in there and witnessed all of that we booked Sheraton hotel down the street. Do not let the good price or pictures fool you at this nasty dump.

Should be 0 stars. This hotel should be condemned. Mold and water damage all throughout the room. A/C smelled of mold and the floor surrounding the unit was soaked with water. The wall next to the bed was completely rotted out due to water damage. No warm water in shower in the morning, only cold. I would rather sleep in a vehicle than stay at this disgusting hotel.

I don't even know where to start. This is the most disgusting hotel I've ever seen. Checked in, went up to the room, and I was shocked. Dirty walls, carpet peeling up, brown stains on the ceiling, hair in the bathtub, and to top it off as I walked into the bathroom I heard a squishing noise (thankfully I still had my shoes on) the carpet was soaking wet. When I went down to get a refund the guy at the front desk responded "you didn't think to come down when you noticed all of this?" No. I didn't because I was walking across the street to the holiday inn express to see if they had any rooms available. No customer service experience at all. I was told by the lady at the holiday inn that people come to check in EVERY DAY because they don't want to stay at that hotel. Ended up getting a room and as soon as I walked in it smelled fresh. The sawgrass inn smells like mold, drugs, and garbage. I strongly advise to NEVER stay here. And if you do, you'll probably end up getting sick. This place needs to be shut down. Only getting one star because I have to select a rating.

Rooms are dirty. Extremely outdated. The smell in the place is a combination of patchouli, drugs and trash. Wouldn’t stay here again. There are nicer rooms in the area for similar prices.

It's the cheapest hotel in the area and remember you're here for the price. At first glance around my room I was going to call it a rat trap but then I thought no rat would want to stay here. On the first night we had a cold snap and the 1 inch gap at the bottom of the door would have been bad except I stuffed a bath towel in it. There was mold on the tile around the bathtub, missing carpet piece, and if I wanted to use the safety chain on the front door it would be impossible since half the lock was missing. Now the good news, the bed was good and clean, the A/C kept the room exactly where I set it, the TV worked although limited cable, and it had daily housekeeping who did a good job. Even in the more expensive hotels they have started to only do housekeeping every other day unless you make a special request. There is free Wi-Fi. It was also quiet as I heard no noise from the rooms around me. And the advantage (if you can call it an advantage) it's across the side street from a Denny's. Just remember, you get what you pay for.

I'm not one to write reviews but this one deserves a review. I'm giving you guys this one star because your receptionist was very pleasant and warm. I stayed there just two weeks ago. When my step dad dropped us off at this place his first impression was that it was abandoned because of its appearance. Cigarette butts were lying around. The corridors were dirty and gave me the creeps. Our room felt dirty. It was funky. The carpet was sticky, yes I said STICKY!!! It was so dirty that the socks I was wearing got stained with dirt from walking around on the carpet. I know it's cheap but I would rather pay a little extra next time and sleep somewhere where I felt comfortable and safe. The hotel has potential to be really nice, but to get there, it needs to be better maitained.

Aside from the lobby, the whole place is falling apart and dirty. Plus there's no microwave, no fridge and they do not offer breakfast

This hotel is in a convenient location. Our room was comfortable but carpets not extremely clean and in general could use a little TCL. But for the price a very fair deal
