Went on a Monday night with a friend. Had a lovely dinner very spacious feeling with the design and the wood ceilings and openness. It wasn't busy yet as it was only around 5:00 p.m... Our server Erica was a delight! I had the chicken tenders dinner but I had it done the Nashville Hot Chicken style and it was delicious highly recommend asking for them to do it that way. My friend had the pork chop which was cooked perfectly and so thick and delicious. Unfortunately we were so full we had no room for dessert... next time the carrot cake!!

What's not to love about J. Alexander's? The ambiance is welcoming, the service is top-tier, and the food is of the highest quality. The prime rib is my favorite so tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned.

Absolutely Outstanding. 7 of us had dinner here, and it was probably the best Cheeseburger I have ever had. Everyone's meal was perfect, and let me tell you, the Key Lime pie is beyond any that I have had in my life !!!@

Services and food were excellent. We originally had reservations for Boatyard, and after waiting 45 minutes to be seated after our 7:15 and shabby treatment by management, we decided to leave. After arriving at J Alexander's, there was very little wait, and as I stated, the food and service were excellent. The experience turned our night around. Thank you for the wonderful experience. This dinner was to show some love and support to my brother, who had been dealing a loss in his family. We all had a great time.

We went in to sit outside there were high tops but they weren’t seating them. We only go out a little so when we do we want good service and we tip very well. So at least 100. Walked out the door and a great tip for

I usually love this place and stick to my main dishes but last night my server recommended something different this time, the Maui ribeye which I ordered medium rare temp. It was awful, rubbery and extremely overcooked. When she came to the table and I showed her it was light brown coloring on the inside and so tough that my steak knife would barely go through it she said “sorry about that”. That’s was all. So I put my uneaten steak at the end of the table to help her understand how inedible it was, and when she passed by she noticed I didn’t eat it, pointed it out and offered to bring me box. I spent over $100 and $48 on an uneaten steak. The quality of this restaurant and the service has really declined over time. The best thing they offer is French fries and carrot cake. I realize I could argue and get a manager but that’s unnecessary when it’s very apparent there’s an issue. Hope you train your servers better especially for your loyal local customers.
