Just went for dinner nothing special just because. When I ordered my food I told the waiter no veggies only onions and I wouldn’t like any peas or carrots in my rice. When the cook comes out he was doing great performances and nice. He was cooking our food incorrectly (I would know because I come here all the time) he mixed in all the veggies and when I stated I only wanted onions he said I got it here & took some out of the mixed veggies..which he read the receipt that said only onions but maybe he forgot we are human so it was no problem. The onions were Burnt I didn’t want to be a problem so I didn’t say anything. He started to mix the veggies in the rice and I asked would he be able leave a little rice on the side for me without any veggies he specially state “I’m not finna keep doing this” which I was so confused… then I asked the waiter for my check and stated to the waiter and the COOK I didn’t want the food anymore. He still was being rude and said here is the rice here and put it on my plate & was taking the small pieces of carrots out while the rice was on my plate. The manager was very sweet and told me come tomorrow for lunch! And guess what he was new. I can’t believe this happen to me.

My family and I have been coming here for over 20 years, and the service has always been exceptional. The staff treats you like family, and the quality and flavor of the food are consistently outstanding. It’s rare to find a restaurant that maintains this level of excellence for decades. Great food! Sometimes you can get a bad waitress and they never told me they charge 18% on the bill so I over tipped! They should have to tell you!
Most times it's not as bad but today with it being Valentine's I expected more organization. Even with reservations the wait was 1hr then they were skipping names that were waiting. I suggest limiting table time when you know it's going to be overbooked and understaffed! Not so good experience during an expected busy time!

I took my sister here for her birthday. It was recommended and both our first time. 1. The food was cooked too fast. 2. No flavor 3. I had to go home and re-cook and season everything 4. The sushi was too breaded 5. My sister enjoyed her ramen. 6 the menus and table were sticky and dirty. I had to go to my car and retort wipes to sanitize. 7. My waitress Alicia was NICE 8. The atmosphere is the main reason I’ll probably come back.
Japan inn is the best place for filet mignon hibachi with the YUM YUM SAUCE. its all about their YUM yum sauce its delicious and no other restaurants come close to Japan inns YUM yum sauce its that good and it has just the right amount of sweetness and their ginger dressing is yummy and everything at Japan inn is 5 star 🌟. Ive been eating here since 1995. Winner winner hibachi and yum yum for dinner 🍽 😋 we love you Japan inn
