Not really...not a good experience at all, food was dull, Burrito was cold inside, Fajitas without any taste or spice..
On top no alcohol license and no chips or salsa was offered..
There are way better mexican restaurants in Plantation and surroundings
Mama and papa restaurant
Amazing authentic food
Fresh homemade food
Good food. What I always have here are the chicken flautas (with no tomato and no pico de gallo, with sour cream and green sauce). But the real rockstar here is the service that the owner provides us with.
Amazing authentic Mexican food with lovely sweet staff. Food portions were really generous along with great prices
Visiting SFL for the last 20 years and always finding new gems like this is a real treat š¤š¤š¤

We are going to try one more time because we have hope that it was just a bad day from the kitchen to the front. ?

Mexican Carnitas, a small Mexican restaurant that truly delivers an authentic experience. The customer service was excellent, and Sandra, who took my take-out order, was especially nice and attentive, ensuring that everything was perfect.
I ordered the pastor tacos, and they were absolutely delicious. The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, with just the right balance of flavors. It's clear that a lot of care goes into the preparation of their dishes, making them some of the best tacos I've had in awhile.
Overall, Mexican Carnitas is a gem for anyone looking for genuine Mexican cuisine. The combination of great food and friendly service makes it a must-visit. I look forward to returning soon to try more of their menu!
I highly recommend treating your taste budsā¦

Decided to try out this little restaurant which looked promising due to so many good reviews. Ordered chicken fajitas and had to wait for the tortillas, had to actually ask for the tortillas, they had forgotten fajitas come with tortillas. Didnāt get any sour cream or guac as well. As I was waiting I tried the āpico de galloā which was just diced tomatoes on a lettuce bed, and there it was: The longest hair Iāve ever seen, mixed in the lettuce I was about to eat!!! I lost my appetite immediately and my husband was disgusted as well. He ordered the carne asada, which was ok but he also lost his appetite. We paid for the steak (because they had the decency to not charge us for the āfajitasā) and left for another restaurant cause I was still obviously hungry. This is the first time in my life I find a hair in my food! I thought that only happened on tv. Itās so unhygienic

Amazing food! Made fresh to order. definitely authentic Mexican food. The Pozole was full of large chunks of beef and just enough hominy. The meat fell off the bone. Itās served with two plain tostados, cabbage, onions and cilantro on the side. The soup was savory and with just enough kick. Add the green salsa for the perfect kick. It is the best poloze Iāve had in Florida thus far. The flautas and tacos were made with fresh corn tortillas. The tacos that were fully loaded and delicious. Traditional flautas for me are more crispy but the tortillas were topped with the works and were still amazingly delicious. The burrito is huge and as my husband said heād eat it everyday over chipotle if he could.
There are tables to sit down at in the restaurant itself but head to the counter first to place your order and then theyāll bring your food out to you. It is a small table restaurant and not ideal for large parties.
