I made reservations one week ago and we get there we had to wait for them to set up. Are you kidding me ? It wasn't like the restaurant was busy STRIKE 1; STRIKE 2 for a table of 13 we had 1 waiter...SMH”most restaurants will have 2 servers. STRIKE 3!!! 1 cook!!!! It took 2 HOURS for us to get our food. I saw the cook overwhelmed ! Management needs to be FIRED! It's the holiday season you should've been prepared AT ALL TIMES. My Drs will NEVER have a luncheon here AGAIN! But, on a positive note: THE DRINKS WERE AWESOME!
Food: The quality was not the worst I've had, but certainly not among the best Japanese cuisine either. For the price point, I expected more refinement. Service: Our server was polite and attentive, but the kitchen was very slow. Dishes came out in the wrong order, our main course arrived before the appetizers, which only showed up at the end of the meal. Drinks: Beer was served warm, straight from a can and bottle, with no glass offered. This felt careless and diminished the experience. Value: We ordered 2 beers, 3 appetizers, and shared one main course. The bill came to $130, which seemed excessive given the quality of both food and service. Overall, Ra Sushi did not deliver on value, timing, or bi presentation. While the staff member was polite, the slow kitchen, warm beer, and high prices made the visit frustrating. I won't be returning
I had been to this restaurant in Scottsdale for many years and always loved it. This one fell short in food, service and overall crummy experience.
Let me tell you, RA sushi is the perfect place to celebrate a birthday! between the service, the delicious hibachi, and the Wagyu from around the world we felt like queens. There was also a special birthday celebration and we could not be more appreciative.
RA Sushi in Plantation really impressed me. The drinks were great, the veggie roll was fresh and tasty, and even the hibachi wrap with no meat was delicious. The standout was the ginger salad—the dressing was so good I kept ordering more. Definitely a spot worth checking out!
Not a great experience. Food was just okay. I was double charged for my tip and dessert. Service was very slow and the resolution was not adequate.
Overall the food was good. The server was good but the food took forever and it wasn't very busy. It is so dark in the restaurant everyone used their phones to read the menu.
We showed up early for our reservation but were seated promptly. We waited about 10 minutes and then had to flag someone down to get waited on. We ordered a spicy salmon roll and a hibachi dinner to share. Our roll came out pretty quick and it looked pretty but it was not spicy, the rice did not seem fresh and the fish was pretty tasteless. It wasn't "bad" but it was not the quality you would expect in a sushi restaurant, more like what you would get in Publix. Then our Filet and Lobster dinner arrived but it came with Shrimp not Lobster. So we have to find our waiter and he tells us he put in the wrong order but advises us to keep the dinner and he puts in a separate side of Lobster which comes out in about 10 minutes. It was also supposed to come with dipping sauces but that was another items we had to remind the waiter to get for us. The food was good quality but not prepared as well as Benihana, with whom they are affiliated. We waited a while to get our check so finally I walked to the front desk only to find our waiter just hanging out and chatting. I know the management realized that our meal had problems and very nicely comped us. It may just have been an off night on service but based on their prices and the taste of the food I would not run back.
I loved the trendy menu which includes asian cuisine burritos, wagyu fried rice, fun holiday drinks, and more -in addition to their traditional sushi offerings! My group and I were seated immediately, upon arrival. Parking on a Sunday night was easy. The complex is newer and looks amazing!
the wagyu menu was absolutely insane!!! the wagyu was like butter - it melts in your mouth and i'm honestly still dreaming about it! i also tried the lychee martini and it was truly a 10/10!

This was amazing! We did wagyu of the world and it was absolutely delicious. The steak was so good, I already wanna go back. We also tried some of their cocktails and I loved the espresso martini and the Paloma, and my boyfriend did the hot sake and loved it!
Took 45 min to get water & drinks & appetizers after being seated. Restaurant was not busy- Sushi did not taste fresh at all. It had a chewy rubbery, texture. Was not impressed. The ceviche had nothing to do with ceviche. Also chewy. The waitress was great but the service in general was not pleasant. Food was not good, it's a shame bc the area & restaurant is very nice.
This RA was awesome. My daughter wanted to have her birthday dinner here. She had a blast. They even gave her a card, thanking us for celebrating at RA sushi. Very nice touch! The food is always good, The servers and waitress, Natalie, and hostess were all exceptional. Natalie went above and beyond for us. It's really a blessing to have such a dependable quality dining experience just minutes away from home.
Diondre was great! Friendly & helpful!
