I moved here recently and was happy to find a family owned business for Italian food walking distance. I come here every week for dinner and tonight I ordered pickup. I ordered chicken Marsala that comes with pasta. I get home the chicken has sauce and itâs laying on a bunch of dry pasta. Normally⌠a restaurant adds sauce to the pasta as well but I digress. I put the cover on shook the container to disperse the sauce and it ended up being tasteless and now everything barely had sauce. I called to ask if I could come by for extra sauce and the manager is going back and forth with me about how itâs made that way and very much acted like âit is what it isâ instead of being accommodating towards me. She did suggest I pay $4.95 for extra sauce which is ridiculous. I took my food back to the restaurant and she still insisted I could pay for more sauce. This restaurant lacks customer service especially for someone that eats here regularly⌠now you donât get your $4.95 and I wonât be spending any more of my money here. Hope that was a good trade.

After 20 years Iâm finding a new pizza place. When you ask for pizza a specific way, and you pay $28 for it, you expect it to be the way you asked.
You donât expect for the waitresses to gaslight you and tell you that itâs âlight cheese on halfâ when itâs clearly not. After arguing for 10min with 2 different people, they finally agreed to remake it, but itâs too little too late.
Save yourself the hassle and go to jacaranda pizza.

God I miss this pizza and garlic bread knots! Like, I'd move back to Plantation solely for this place. It was our go-to on pizza nights when we lived in Plantation; easily ate it once a week, if not more often. It's been a decade and thats a decade too long! No stars for atmosphere, because we always did takeout to our nearby apartment; the food was still phenominal as take-out and the chef/staff was always pleasent to interact with as a take-out customer. If I remember correctly (and this was 10 years ago), it was kind-of a small shop and didnt have a lot of seating, so I don't see it as a "sit-down, needs a good atmosphere" type of place. Just satisfying food and nice people to deal with, which is 98% of what I need when I'm hungry at the end of the day.
Vegetarian options: Wife's a vegetarian that loves cheese pizza and garlic bread/sticks/rolls. This is one of her favorite spots to get those 2 things in the whole world (and yes, she travels globally for work).
Kid-friendliness: Employees were always nice and welcoming. I never sensed any anger or aggression from their staff, nor ever heard them cuss or seem to hate being at work, working hard, near the heat of an oven.
Wheelchair accessibility: I think I remember there being a ramp nearby their entrance door.
Will be coming back again for more food, the place has amazing food and workers, very family friendly and the best deserts around
