Do not order the Up All Night unless you really enjoy water. Atmosphere was quite nice and the service was decent considering I was at a table and not at the bar, but other than that, I wasn’t really a fan.

Me & my boys come almost every Monday for the half off apps / $6 burgers and Kylie always serves us and is super friendly and helpful with anything we need, super knowledgeable on the whiskeys when we have questions, love this place.

There was a soccer game or football game and the place was packed. Not able to find a seat and staff didn’t acknowledge me. A table was open but it said it was reserved at 10:13 pm. Had no choice but to leave. People coming in and leaving. Just people with set up not there to accommodate more people. A very large whole section just with a huge couch.——-04/18/2025 Updated Review—Often go to the FT Lauderdale Whiskey Neat location. Always eat the same. Churrasco Steak. It’s so good. Plantation location was such a disappointment I almost left and went to FtLauderdale Location. Veggies were not grilled or roasted as other location. So weird the same exact quarter deck company has night and day taste. Back kitchen in Plantation rushes dishes out and does not even season food. I for the first time had to ask for salt and pepper. I have ate the same plate over 7 times with same exact perfect consistency in FTLauderdale location. If you care about taste then drive some more and skip the Plantation location. Hardly any seats because of the spill over of Quarterdeck attached. FT Lauderdale keeps patrons separate and crowd is more upscale. Added pictures as proof. Next time I go to FT Lauderdale location I will add pics of same plate so you see the difference.

Great selection of hard to find bourbon. Very nice ambiance. Great and knowledgeable staff. Would be better having a scratch kitchen and a more limited menu.

I heard about Whiskey Neat from some friends and had to check it out... especially for the speakeasy vibes. When we got to Quarterdecks we asked the hostess where Whiskey Neat was and she pointed us to the rear of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the night we visited had a bunch of people hanging out watching the Canes play. It was late in the game and everyone was pretty wasted... and really loud. TVs were also cranked up really loud. Staff did nothing to try and keep the noise down. You could tell people sitting around them were visibly annoyed. The drinks were good. Had a great smoked old fashioned. Was expecting better and will have to go again on a night with no games or obnoxious drunks. Would be a better vibe if there were some live music.

My husband and I stumbled upon whiskey neat while we were deciding to have date night. I’m so glad we discovered this place. The cocktails are out of this world good!! The service was even better. Kylie took care of us and provided so much knowledge on all the whiskey and their history. I asked her to surprise me with a cocktail and she made me an amazing espresso martini! We will definitely be back next week to see Kylie on Monday!
