The food was fantastic — I absolutely loved it. My server, Antonio, was great throughout most of the meal. However, when he brought the check, he said, “Have a good tip,” instead of “Have a good day.” That comment caught us off guard and felt unprofessional, which was disappointing. Other than that, everything else about the experience was excellent.
My wife and I are so happy Calypso is open on Saturday again. We love this restaurant but we can't make it during the week. We were regulars until they stopped being open on the weekend. Our visit was just our first.

This is my favorite local restaraunt. I always take out of towners, go on birthdays and special occasions. The food is fresh and reasonably priced. Always feel healthy after I eat a meal here. The service and environment is exceptional. Everything on the menu is good. Some of my favorite items are the coconut pie, chicken wings, oysters, bbq shrimp and even their side salad is delicious. Probably the best place in Pompano.
