Prices are high with small amount of food. The service wasnt the best. It was my first time, staff wasn't knowledgeable when I asked questions regarding prices. I paid for collard green but was given cabbage. I was given (very thin) oxtails with not gravey... just bare and under seasoned... which is a $21 plate. Most of all I was told the total was $54 but when he gave me my receipt I was charged $57. I ask what was the additional amount I was told fee for using a card. He could have warn me before I paid. I would have given him cash. I will never come back here again.

Nice lil’ breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. We came here for brunch. The gentleman behind the counter was hilarious ? There’s no where to sit in here so we couldn’t dine in technically. However, there some picnic like table just right outside . It was a really nice day we ordered our food and ate it outside. Food was hot and fresh. The cheesy grits were *chefs kiss* Will be back again. I wish there was indoor seating . When we were leaving the gentleman said “hope you enjoy and if not I guess y'all not coming back!” ?Too funny

Started coming here 2 weeks ago now that I work down the street. Been back ever since. Great customer service, food always ready upon arrival which is great bcuz I only get a half hour lunch. Food is delicious. Gotta try the pork chops, chefs Lou doing his thing back in the kitchen.

I wanted to check this place out because I recently saw that it made the “local 10 clean plate list” I did not appreciate the interaction from the jump. Even though I understand it was still early in the morning. I still excepted to be greeted properly like a regular customer. And the food is okay

First time visitor and will be a repeat visitor. The owner was very nice and welcoming. The prices were fair and the food was very good. Made to order nothing cold unless you asked for it. He has a convo with you when the crowds dies down. Nice jazz music in the back ground with r&b to boot. We talked about having a cooking program for the kids. All around nice atmosphere.
Great food. Best shrimp and grits I’ve ever tasted thus far. Will definitely be coming back.

Some seriously good soul food! This is my second time eating here. The first time I had smothered pork chops. This time I had the meatloaf with Lima beans, collard greens, rice and gravy with corn bread. Louis is an excellent cook and very friendly operator. Five stars all the way!

First time here. I googled liver near me and they did not disappoint. The liver was tender and perfectly seasoned. I also got pancakes and eggs. David was very sufficient and his customer service was too notch. I will be here again

I think i found it! Ive been looking for that great seasoned fried chicken and porkchops that make you just want more. I had the porkchop breakfast (yummy grits) and my daughter had fried chicken sandwich. I tell you those chops were sooo delicious. Big breakfast great price. Im going back soon to see what we can have for lunch or dinner. Hopefully i can get some gravy on something fried cause that would be heaven. Its a small little jem but wow give it a try. A+
