Not as good as my last few visits. The twice cooked pork was served with no spice, which is not what we requested. We did request that the shrimp and scallop dish which is marked with a red pepper. Heat symbol be mild. The waitress, took it upon herself to render our twice cooked pork bland. I didn't fully realize what happened till the bill came and I saw it marked that way. Also, the eggroll seemed heavier and grease here than previous visits.
The food was good, we order the twice cooked pork spicy, it never came spicy, we also had the duck dumplings which were great, but we were never given plates to eat them, mapo tofu was fantastic, yang chow fried rice was ok, blueberry mocktail was tasty, our waitress was very friendly
The Peking Duck was excellent- as good or better than I expected. The other dishes were also very good. The scallion pancake should have been crispy and a larger portion.
Peking Duck House (revisited-Finally!), 1200 E Atlantic Blvd, Pompano Beach, FL (954) 946-0436 was our go-to for great Chinese food for years (going back into the last century-but nevermind), where it was a Family Tradition to dine there before leaving my Mom & Dad for visits several times a year. We always loved it! Hubs & I would go for a special treat or take-out when the mood for real good Chinese food would hit... an insatiable craving for honey-garlic chicken (he) and Mongolian beef (me). Over time, and I really hate to say this, having loved the restaurant SO much, they weren't as good as they used to be. Next thing you know, we drive by one day and CLOSED!! (for remodeling) Seemed like it was years. Wait! It WAS years! But I digress... we drove by one day and BINGO! OPEN! But every time we drove by it was packed. Finally, last Thursday, we drove by and BINGO! Open! With plenty of parking! Made a quick res online (Open Table) and we were instantly accommodated! We were informed, however, to call in the res vs. online. Peking Duck House HAS been completely remodeled! Given an incredible face lift (think Cher or Raquel Welch). Gone was the stained glass ceiling reminiscent of The Poseidon Adventure movie. A red and white Chinese mural graced the east wall, with gentle beige and brown tones throughout and comfy booths and table seating. I was charmed by the divider at the end of the restaurant, wooden cubbies each with a traditional Chinese iron teapot! Ok ok, the food! Fabulous! The vegetable spring rolls were light, crispy, delicately seasoned and served with a light n' lovely dipping sauce. Hubs got a favorite, General Tso's chicken while I splurged on the Lobster Pad Thai. We also ordered chicken fried rice (nice!), hot Sake (me), iced tea (he) and the portions were more than ample. A nice big fat lobster tail sat atop delicately peanut-sauced pad thai noodles. Yum! Strawberries and exotic purple orchids graced the plate.
Friends enjoyed tofu and chicken noodle dishes. Cucumber appetizer spicy good. However, chicken lettuce wrap was much too salty to enjoyl
Outs dishes were hot and delicious, dumplings, noodles, beef and broccoli Prices are very reasonable.
The food was so scrumptious. The Brussels sprouts appetizer is amazing, the perfectly crispy chicken wings were delicious. Fresh food hot and delectable. The service was excellent.
Excellent service and tasty food. I will definitely drive from Miami all the way to Pompano for this food. Simply delicious!!
The parking lot was full when we arrived Friday evening, but we did find free street parking. The decoration inside the restaurant is Asian inspired and beautiful. They made the best out of this weird long L shape restaurant. The high ceilings make it look sophisticated. The waitress was very attentive, friendly and fast. The food was tasty, but not wow. I would've liked for the beef ribs to be more tender and coming off the bone. The peeling duck was supposed to be boiled and then roasted but it tasted deep fried! Very very fatty. I would not order this again. The Mongolian beef was tasty, but it was very little beef for a main dish! I would've liked if the ambience at our table would have been more cozy and romantic, like dimed lighting, and then a table light to light up the food! All in all it's good for a Chinese place, but can be improved.
Very nice restaurant. Amazing bao buns. Full liquor menu but no bar to sit at. I prefer sitting at the bar, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Will definitely go again

This is the third time we have dined at Peking Duck since its reopening. Each time it has not disappointed! We have been living in south Florida for 9 years and we have finally found a Chinese food restaurant similar to ones we enjoyed in NY. We highly recommend!!!
Very excited to try the landmark. The menu has a great variety of items from dim sum, to classic Chinese dishes, to great cocktails. Service was a bit slow, but understandable since the restaurant was so busy. The food took about 45 minutes to get to the table, but I guess it was worth it because each dish was fabulous and delicious.
Excellent chinese food experince. Peking Duck was as good as I once had in Peking. Great cocktails and nice setting. A busy place on a Saturday but worth the wait for the service
Excellent service with excellent food . Best egg rolls ever and chicken fried rice. Also the best orange beef I ever had!
Peking Dyck is the star here. Fried rice was very good, too. The chicken 3 was half a chicken. Not expected and very hard to split up.
