So why? It’s family owned. That is always a good sign. How do I know? Because Gianni is always there making sure everything is perfect. And his family recipes are the star of the show.
It starts with the homemade bread. An Italian loaf fresh out of the oven. Crusty outside and like a dream inside. Or maybe you get the homemade garlic knots dripping in fresh garlic and olive oil. Steaming hot.
Every dinner comes with the most amazing salad. Yup. I said salad. It sounds funny even to say that. But trust me, it is not like any salad you ever had. Fresh greens and veggies with the house dressing that ( they say) marinated for 3 days before it gets served.
Their soups are like grandma used to make. No cans. No salt. No fake flavors. They are just amazing.
It’s an Italian place but I get fish more often than not. Branzino. Snapper. Frances or oreganato.

For those who haven't tried it, let me tempt you: Tartufo is a sublime gelato indulgence, a spherical sensation packed with two or more velvety flavors, encasing a decadent secret - either a warm, gooey chocolate core or a fruity explosion of raspberry, strawberry, or cherry, bursting with flavor. We went here yesterday for dinner and wow what an amazing Italian restaurant all around. The service was primo and the food brought me back to my days in Italy. A true gem of a restaurant. The garlic bread and salad was the best I've ever had besides my grandma Giovannini's of course. If you love Italian food this is the best place in south Florida no doubt. The service made us feel at home and the entire staff was so welcoming and nice. Thank you all for such a great dinner with excellent pasta and sauce out of this world. We will be back very soon, like real soon. Much respect to this entire establishment. Salutes.
