IHOP offers a mix of experiences for its guests. Some customers have reported dry and gritty pancakes, along with issues related to food presentation, such as fruit sitting in the center of the plate. Others have mentioned unappetizing hashbrowns and grits. However, many guests have had a positive experience, enjoying great food and exceptional service. One reviewer highlighted the staff's friendliness and attentiveness, particularly praising Sydney for her wonderful suggestions and pleasant demeanor. Some reviews mentioned issues with food temperature, as some meals were served warm but not hot enough to melt the provided butter. Cleanliness has also been a concern for some, with reports of finding gum on plates. Management has responded to these incidents, but some customers have found their handling to be unprofessional. Overall, IHOP is seen as a cozy spot for family brunches, with both highs and lows in service and food quality.
