Our food was delicious. We had the western omelette (modified) and crepes. Our server (Rachel) had a beautiful friendly smile, and we received our food very quickly. We really enjoyed the bright and cheery atmosphere as well and look forward to our next visit.

Exploring the Pompano Beach Drawbridge: A Gateway to Serenity

As you veer off Atlantic Boulevard and descend the ramp toward Pompano Beach, a striking structure greets you—the Pompano Beach Drawbridge. This isn't just any bridge; it's a nautical gateway that ushers you into a realm where the land meets the sea, and the bustling city life transitions into the tranquil vibes of the beach.

The bridge itself is a marvel, designed to reflect the sail elements of the nearby pier parking garage, creating a cohesive and welcoming entrance to the barrier islands. It's not just a passageway but a landmark that captures the essence of Pompano Beach with its grand sail-like entrances and a pedestrian esplanade underneath. This esplanade connects the south to the north, weaving together restaurants and buildings in a seamless blend of urban and maritime architecture.

To the right, as you make your way down, you're greeted by the 'yellow yolk'—a burst of color that adds to the picturesque views surrounding the area. It's a spot that invites you to pause and soak in the beauty, to watch the boats glide by as the drawbridge lifts, on the hour and half-hour, against the backdrop of the expansive sky.

The Pompano Beach Drawbridge isn't just a structure; it's an experience. It's where you can witness the harmonious dance of engineering and aesthetics, functionality and beauty. It's a place that reminds you that sometimes, the journey is just as enchanting as the destination.

So next time you find yourself at this drawbridge, take a moment to appreciate the intricate design and the serene views. Let it be a reminder of the delightful surprises that await when you take the scenic route.

Veggie omelette vegetables very fresh, generous with the cheese. One of the few places on the beach with free and ample parking.

This place is less than basic. The waiter and waitress argued over who was serving our table of 4. Unfortunately the result was other guest (that came in after us) had food on their tables before we even got coffee! The only menu item that seemed less than basic was the Crepes, so my husband and I ordered them. 15 minutes later the waiter ( an unfriendly bloke) came to tell us they were out of crepes. How do you run out of something made in house? Come on people the place was not that busy. We had to summons the unfriendly bloke from across the restaurant for refills, he was very indignant. The open and fresh atmosphere of the restaurant is diminished by your staff’s sour dispositions and menus inadequacies.
We won’t be back and won’t be recommending. LESS THAN BASIC EVERYTHING!

I had a great veggie omelet, add cheese as it doesn't come with it though. Great outdoor seating area with big tables and covered in case of rain. Right next to the draw bridge. Good service, very attentive and friendly.
