1912 Ocean Bar & Rooftop

Beautiful views of the ocean. Had a great experience dining with friendly staff and great food. Very accommodating for my toddler as well. 10/10

I visited 1912 Rooftop for the first time and expected an experience that matched its elevated atmosphere and menu prices. Instead, I waited over 10 minutes to even be acknowledged by either bartender. One kept her back to me at the computer the entire time. I know I won’t be helped the second I walk up to a bar, but a simple “one moment” or acknowledgment would have gone a long way, rather than ignoring me until her coworker finally told her to assist.

When I ordered a $23 skinny margarita with top-shelf tequila, I overheard the bartender and barback joking that she didn’t know how to make one but “it should be fine” since people don’t usually send her drinks back. That’s not exactly the level of professionalism you’d expect when paying these prices. The margarita was not great. If you don’t know how to make a drink, honesty and a recommendation go a long way. However, mocking the order while still serving it does not.

By the time I closed out, they were still talking about my margarita. Between the poor drink quality, slow service, and unprofessional commentary, the entire experience fell short of expectations. I still tipped 20% because I understand service staff rely on it, but I will not be returning.

Great views on but the volume of the live music killed the vibe. Could barely hear my own thoughts. Willing to pay prices on the menu if service is great but bartending staff on the rooftop was unprofessional and borderline obnoxious. Would not come back willingly. Great spot if you’re just looking for an Instagram pic.

Ate at 1912 for the first time last weekend and loved it! Food for all 4 in our party was great, service was outstanding, and love the ocean front atmosphere. Highly recommend! Good to make a reservation.

Great location, complimentary valet was a nice touch, our serve Alissa was amazing and interactive with us, the food was great (I will see if you expect a ton of flavor this is a no go) and portions were great. The cornbread appetizer and the birria pizza were *chefs kiss*. I highly recommend it and try and reserve a seat on the patio if available. Of course, don’t forget the drinks! Can’t wait to return. Don’t listen to the negative reviews.

This place is HORRIBLE. The oysters were smaller than a tic tac, the mahi was cooked so much that it looked like chicken. We picked at it because we were starving after waiting 45 minutes. But this place is highly overpriced for such terrible food. Will never be back.

We stopped in for happy hour on my wife’s birthday and had an amazing time. Our server, Joshua, was fantastic—super friendly and gave great recommendations. The burrata and charred octopus were outstanding, and you really can’t beat the ocean breeze and gorgeous view. We’ll definitely be back for dinner!

Great rooftop ocean setting. The service was exceptional and the view is beautiful. The setting inside is clean and modern. The food and drinks were decent but not worth the price tag. Still a great spot for a date or business dinner.

I’ve been to all of the best restaurants, and unfortunately, this place was HORRIBLE. A damn sham to have some of the best real estate in PV and stunning views, but sadly, the WORSE food.
We ordered the shrimp cocktail, only to see that they used frozen medium shrimp🤷🏼
Why not use fresh from C&C fisheries or Safe Harbor? It felt like a cost-cutting and that’s probably because customers see the quality isn’t there.

We waited 45 minutes for a salad which we ended up canceling. The rooftop area has a good atmosphere with many drinkers and flattop pizzas, which seemed to be the only item anyone was ordering.

To top it off, our server had a fake London accent that kept breaking, making the interaction awkward and unprofessional.

Won’t be back ever ✌🏼
