We haven't' been to this Al's Pizza in years. Today we had a hankering for pizza so we visited during the slow hours of the day (around 5 PM ish). We ordered a 14" meat pizza, and it came out very good. Very flavorful, fresh, and hot, We had their house wine in a Merlot (just ok, but for $6.00 hard to beat). Caroline the server was great. Our only complaint was we were sitting by the windows and the window seals were filthy with crumbs, dust and hair, hard to look at (so we didn't) - other areas seemed clean. Please pay attention to cleaning details. Food and service was good, so give them a try.

One of my favorite places for pizza. They also have a nice promotion through Local Flavor. $15 for $30 worth of food for all locations. Nice little promo to save a few bucks. Our last visit was good, however 4/5 stars was because they were short staffed and only could make pizzas and Stromboli's. So no appetizers, salads or sandwiches. Bummer. The staff was friendly and attentive. Pizza is always fresh, seasoned , and hot!! The tables were clean and the ambiance was a little noisy but typical when people are enjoying their food and conversation.

We have been Al's pizza fans for years and I am happy to see they have gone back adding sliced meatballs to the pizza instead of the shreds they did for a few years. So much better!! 4.5 stars only because the meatballs aren't distributed across the pizza but kind of thrown in the middle. It was a busy Saturday night so there's that but delicious pie overall.

The cheese was very thin, had no flavor and was cold. We asked for kids dough when we arrived, after 30 minutes, had to get up and ask for it. After ten more minutes, another adult went up to ask for the dough. It arrived 45 minutes after we arrived and one minute before our food. Waitress was inattentive.

I hosted a birthday party for my son’s 11th birthday at the Al’s Ponte Vedra Beach location last night. Our server Thomas and the entire staff were incredible and so patient with our large group. We frequent this location often and are always so impressed with the staff, the food and the atmosphere. The group last night got a little rowdy lol, and everyone at Al’s was so sweet and kind. We will continue eating here over and over! Thank you especially to Thomas! ?
