$60 for a fish dish served with potato chips, noise levels that made our heads throb ... we will not return.

Went for the first time on Valentine's Day and decided to take our Sophia, a cute little red nose pit mix dog. No issues with the dog or with finding a nice table for us. Dog was a hit, btw. Totally dog friendly staff. We were seated outside, greeted by the GM at the door and walked to our table. The staff is very friendly and made the event a tad more special than just going out to eat. The food is delicious though the menu is a bit sparse for my taste, Would love to see more pasta, seafood and chicken offerings. I went with the ribeye and wife went with the scallops. We tried their sourdough bread which was tasty and their Ahi Tuna and Caesar's salad as appetizers were delicious. We also enjoyed a couple of Cappuccinos and shared their Cheesecake for dessert and they were also very good. The outdoor ambience in that area isn't a thing. It's dark and keeps the eyes inside the dining area, as there isn't anything to see at night. The restaurant is dead smack in a residential neighborhood, but being on the water suggests it's lovely by day. The space is heated so it works even when it's cooler out. All in all, we were impressed. I will say, don't trust your GPS coming from the South. It's easier just to take 95N to 295E to A1AS and use Trader Joes as your landmark to turn on your GPS for the rest of the directions. Otherwise, you're taken into backroads that go on forever - though if you want scenic drive through some of the most impressive homes in St. John's County, take the backroads. We split the drives, slow and scenic on the way in and fast and direct on the way out. Lovely drive in...

Argyle was a superb choice for a delicious and semi casual Valentine's Day family dinner. The drink and dinner menu options included something for everyone in our party, from the Argyle signature Old Fashioned, a refreshing prosecco, and artisanal starters. The beets and berries salad, crisp and creamy cesars with homemade croutons and dressing, scallops, chicken pot pie, and sweet potato agnolotti with truffles were beyond amazing. Our sincere compliments to the chef, servers, and wait staff for an excellent dining experience.

Thursday is prime rib night and it was delicious. Be aware though we got there at 6:30 and we got the last two. The only negative was the noise level. I would sit outside when it gets warmer.

Interesting and unique menu! Chef is very creative and everything we tried was delicious. Our server was very sweet and welcoming and helped us understand the menu better. Will definitely be back!

I've been to this restaurant twice and thought wow I like it let me go on my birthday. Boy do I wish I picked another place. They would not see us before our entire party got there, even though the table is ready. When the manager told the hostess to see us, she had a temper tantrum and banged her fist on the desk. Our reservation was at 6:30 and we didn't get our food till 8 o'clock. When I finally did get my food, it was lukewarm at best, not even hot. The food was amazing. I will say. But the service was absolutely atrocious, and I will not be going back for a long time.

The only reason that I don't give my usual 5 stars all around is due to a badly planned dinner service. Unbeknownst to us, the restaurant was hosting a very large party that came in a big bus. They were seated outside, so not a problem to us. But they taxed a very hard working staff, both on the floor and, I assume, in the kitchen. We had long waits for our drinks and dinners. The wait staff and the maitre d'/manager were very apologetic but really could not do much to speed things up. The food was up to the usual Argyle standard so, no complaints there. I am pretty sure that this was a one-off experience so I'm calling no harm/no fouls. We'll be back.

We had a great experience first our first time visiting, celebrating my husband's birthday. Food, service, atmosphere 10/10!

What an awesome place! We love everything about this gem of a restaurant. The service is fantastic, but the food is truly something to talk about. This was our second time dining there, and we already have a reservation for a third time!

As always, best steak in town! Never disappoints! We always choose this restaurant for our girls night dinner. The wait staff is so accommodating and the food is phenomenal.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Truly Exceptional Experience at Argyle Our visit to Argyle was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we sat down, the service team set the tone with warmth, attentiveness, and a level of professionalism that elevated the entire evening. The food was exceptional — every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and full of flavor. The carrot appetizer and the lentil appetizer were both standouts, each one layered, balanced, and absolutely delicious. One moment that truly impressed us: the bartender noticed that a drink didn't have the correct amount of foam and replaced it before we even asked. That level of pride and precision in their craft left us gobsmacked. It's rare to see that kind of commitment to excellence, and it didn't go unnoticed. Argyle delivered an experience that was refined, delicious, and genuinely memorable. We'll be back — and recommending it to everyone who appreciates great food and impeccable service.

The environment when we visited (a Monday evening) was quiet and enjoyable. What we did not like was the (outside temp) being upper 30's or low 40's and we were pretty sure they did not have the heat on, inside. We all kept our coats on the entire meal. At one point we noted there was cold air blowing on us and we suspected the ac may have actually been on. It was quite unpleasant. It took a good bit of time before someone came by to take our order. And once the order was placed, it took more than a normal amount of time to get our food to us. However once it arrived we all very much enjoyed what we ordered. It was, unique, quality, presented fantastically and delicious. The staff was friendly to us. But there seemed to be a disconnect between them. The restrooms are always a good indicator of how well the establishment is really kept. And they get an A+ in this area. From their custom logo'd wall paper to their really clean and smelling good environment. They had nice paper products and private stalls. There was even an employee in there cleaning. Great meal! We just mostly wish we could have either sped up the service or had a reasonable interior temperature for our January evening dinning experience.
