We have been JJs customers since they opened in the 1990s. Food is always delicious and service excellent For this lunch with friends, my husband and I opted to order the mushroom and chicken crepes , one of the daily specials. The chicken crepes on the menu were $19 so we thought these would be close in price. Imagine our surprise when the bill came and the crepes were $28!! And we had upgraded the salad side to a cup of the French onion soup for an additional charge of $3.50 so cost was over $30 per person for 2 small crepes. Just as surprising was the $8 cost for the smallest cup of cappuccino that we had ever seen and $15 for 4 small ice cream puffs. Those who do not have budgets and are not price sensitive might not be phased by any of this. And we are willing to pay up for an upscale experience which this was. But more than $90 for a lunch without wine or alcoholic beverages was over the top. We may return because we do love the restaurant. But we will never order again without asking the price since the “specials” are far from reasonable.
Very charming place and the Vichyssoise was excellent! Quiche was pretty decent too, though it should have come with a little salad, the way it is in France. Good and helpful waitress too. Owner was not very friendly ( very " Frenchlike, I suppose...) and offered us a rosé ( by the way, the menu only had whites and reds on it...) that was quite horrible and in the most expensive range for wines by the glass. Overall, definitely a pretty genuine French experience in Jacksonville for francophiles!
The burger for our 11 year old was cooked rare. Burgers are supposed to to be at least medium. My red fish with crab had a fishy taste. My husband 's lobster risotto was also fishy. Lastly, the length of the meal was almost 2 hours. Not a place to go to unless you want to spend the time drinking many glasses of wine.
We went for lunch and had French onion, soup, mussels, nicoise salad, and a croque monsuir they turned into a Croque madame for us. It was wonderful everything was perfect.
Excellent food and service in a quaint restaurant. Noise level was a bit high, but then you can't blame folks for having a great time. Highly recommend
A gem in Ponte Vedra Beach. JJ's delicious standard offerings are supplemented with intriguing specials and a solid wine list, plus a 50+ dessert selection that is guaranteed to please.
We celebrated my husband's birthday there and it was wonderful in every way. Highly recommend!
I went here with my dad it was the BEST restaurant I’ve been to ever. Kind staff, great food, delicious tiramisu. Amazing service. The baguettes were amazing. Will definitely come again. Very rich food. 10/10

We dined at JJs tonight. I had the special Beef bourguignon and it was OUTSTANDING. My husband had the chicken cordon Bleu and said it was the best he’s ever had. The portions were generous.
The service was spot on. Attentive and friendly but not intrusive.
A delightful quiet dining experience.
Can’t wait to go back!!

The first 6 oysters came out with shell off but oysters had not been freed underneath. We found out why when the 2nd 6 came out properly freed, that the dishwasher had ben allowed to do the first 6!. The first plate of Torchon Foie Gras was old and oxidized, again very noticeable when the 2nd plate came out. Unfortunately my wife and I were ordering similar meals but at different times, hence the reason we noticed the differences, as they came out at different times. Debbie had ordered the bacon-wrapped scallop first and said the bacon was too chewy to eat. I had started with the vichyssoise, which was excellent. The wait-staff were all excellent and very apologetic.
