A great place for a celebration and girls lunch out. My only complaint is too many yummy desserts to choose from. Of course, I have to eat every bite.

An incredible ambiance paired with delicious food, generous portions, and impressive desserts. This place will not disappoint and it's great for date nights, group nights, and general outings.

We had a wonderful evening. The service was great and the food very good. The shrimps and scallops in hazelnut risotto was amazing. Great flavors. Also the beef Bourgogne was so good.

Always a joy to be at JJ's. Our favorite is the French onion soup, and the trout is always delicious. The desserts are spectacular!

JJ's never disappoints! It's a favorite lunch spot and the food is always great no matter your choice!

The menu was not in accordance with what Open Table says, the prices were double, the lady who served us first got upset when we mentioned it and did not return, later they treated us very kindly but surely they adjusted the menu to give us the correct price because the portions were small, the chef and the owner did not return but the food was delicious

Wonderful service, and excellent food and wine, as usual! Loved the fresh oysters and the entrees. JJ made excellent wine recommendations to accompany our food choices. Thank you!

I ordered the steak fritte and was so happy, the steak literally melts in your mouth, no need to upgrade to filet mignon. The sauce that comes with it is so good and I found myself trying to get every drop from the plate. My friends got the crepes and beef bourguignon special and were also happy. We all got dessert and I have no idea how they make all of those in house but everything is so good. It's definitely not cheap but I love the ambiance and wish I could go every week. The service is great and everyone there is so friendly.

JJ's is a rare gem in PVB. Friends recently brought it to my attention, and now it will be our ‘to go' for special dining experiences. At lunch last week, we were able to enjoy the most succulent and delicious PEI oysters, fresh and plump, and some of the best I've ever had. The menu is incredibly fabulous. You cannot go wrong with any dish. This time I tried the crêpes and as I expected, they were wonderful. Their dessert list is second to none. I believe they have an in-house pastry chef who creates all of their many beautiful cakes which you see on full display upon entering. There is nothing like JJ‘s here at the Beach or even in town, as far as I know. All of the staff is gracious, kind and attentive. You will not be disappointed, and I will be back again many times.

Great meal, atmosphere and service. The only negative thing was no recognition of the birthday.

JJ's Bistro is our go to place for every special occasion, just a quiet leisurely dinner, or to treat visitors to a unique experience in Ponte Bedra. The wine selection is exciting and varied for all tastes and pockets. The food truly special . Just beware, the dessert menu is over the top and irresistible!

We have been JJs customers since they opened in the 1990s. Food is always delicious and service excellent For this lunch with friends, my husband and I opted to order the mushroom and chicken crepes , one of the daily specials. The chicken crepes on the menu were $19 so we thought these would be close in price. Imagine our surprise when the bill came and the crepes were $28!! And we had upgraded the salad side to a cup of the French onion soup for an additional charge of $3.50 so cost was over $30 per person for 2 small crepes. Just as surprising was the $8 cost for the smallest cup of cappuccino that we had ever seen and $15 for 4 small ice cream puffs. Those who do not have budgets and are not price sensitive might not be phased by any of this. And we are willing to pay up for an upscale experience which this was. But more than $90 for a lunch without wine or alcoholic beverages was over the top. We may return because we do love the restaurant. But we will never order again without asking the price since the “specials” are far from reasonable.

Very charming place and the Vichyssoise was excellent! Quiche was pretty decent too, though it should have come with a little salad, the way it is in France. Good and helpful waitress too. Owner was not very friendly ( very " Frenchlike, I suppose...) and offered us a rosé ( by the way, the menu only had whites and reds on it...) that was quite horrible and in the most expensive range for wines by the glass. Overall, definitely a pretty genuine French experience in Jacksonville for francophiles!

The burger for our 11 year old was cooked rare. Burgers are supposed to to be at least medium. My red fish with crab had a fishy taste. My husband 's lobster risotto was also fishy. Lastly, the length of the meal was almost 2 hours. Not a place to go to unless you want to spend the time drinking many glasses of wine.
