Ruth's Chris Steak House

Food was good, not great. As a franchise, the balance between consistency and unique must be struck. The beef is excellent. The bread, not great but good. The appetizers were fair to good. The carrot cake was good, not great. Needed more moisture, more icing with more cream cheese, more raisins and more carrot, honestly. Still a nice venue, but not great.

Ruth Chris should understand how to cook a steak to the right temp. I had medium rare, my son had medium, and my wife had medium to medium well. All three steaks came out rare at most. They were very nice (the server was great) and the GM gave us a free dessert that we really didn't care to have, but a restaurant like Ruth Chris should know how to cook a steak to the proper temp. While they were nice, I can't recommend this restaurant at this time nor will I be going back anytime soon.

First of all let me say I'm a Ruth's fan. Have always loved their food and their service. Normally a 5 star would be a no brainer however this time not so much. It wasn't that the service was bad, it just wasn't up to the crisp service I've received in the past. One of our party ordered garlic mashed potatoes, a Ruth's staple side dish. The restaurant was out of mashed potatoes. Huh? Salad course came out and 5 out of six arrived at once. Server said someone was supposed to be behind her with the sixth. She left and there was a wait and some minutes later the GM came over and was told the salad hadn't arrived. It showed up soon thereafter. As I wrote the service wasn't bad just not up to it's usual standard. Not sure what was happening that night in the kitchen or if our server was just overloaded. I hope I'll see the service return to it's former standard.

Restaurant really seems to have dropped a bit in the food quality. Service was excellent as always, but they delivered the wrong steaks to the wrong guest at our table and the crab stuffed shrimp is clearly canned crab or nothing fresh. It's a shame it's dropped off at that location because we were gonna make it a regular for us. I guess we'll have to drive farther for Grill. If anyone knows a great steakhouse in the Ponte Vedra area, just let us know.

Went to the caymus wine dinner, the presentation, the wines selected and the food was fabulous. A very enjoyable dining experience

Everything exceeded our expectations. Salads were fresh, Bread was warm. The steak was great as expected. The garlic mashed potatoes were a pleasant treat. We finished with a really nice cheese cake.

Everything was impact at this restaurant and. I really have no complaints at all. It's very wonderful from appetizer to dessert. Lobster and mac & cheese are always your favorite.

Unfortunatelty the dirty, moldy air vent above our booth really distracted from our dinner. The food was good, the service was good, the cleanliness of the restaurant.....questionable. Do better Ruth's Chris this is just disgusting.

It's way better than other Ruth Chris steakhouses I've been to. The steaks were excellent. The portions large. Great waitstaff too.

We recently relocated to Ponte Vedra and chose Ruth's Chris Sawgrass to celebrate my wife's birthday—and they truly rolled out the red carpet for us. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home on such a special occasion. The service was exceptional, and every detail was handled with genuine care. The food was absolutely perfect—everything cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. This was our first visit to this location, but it certainly won't be our last. Thank you to the Ruth's Chris Sawgrass team for making my wife's birthday such a memorable evening. We'll definitely be coming back!

Terrible experience. Went with a party of 10 to celebrate a birthday with family. Waiter cut us off numerous times and wouldn't shut up. Literally every single person in the table got annoyed by how much this girl spoke. Over explained things like we're idiots who never been to a steakhouse. I specifically asked to bring a steak the way i like it and she messes it up. When the food got to the table she proceeds to talk non stop without putting our food down. Over 5 mins our food was sitting while she non stop spoke and explained everything our food was cold. Complete joke. mediocre steak , bad experience and very expensive for what it is today. Ruth Chris hasn't been good in years and this place sucks

One of the best Ruth's Chris Steakhouses' we have been to. Love the bar for a drink before dinner. All the food is fantastic. Great appetizers. Best ribeyes anywhere! Everyone is extremely professional. Service is great. Heather, the Manager, is the best!

Definitely one of our favorite restaurants to dine at! Nicole severed us at the Ponte Vedra location and she was amazing! Great service and amazing food! 100% recommended.

Great place for a business dinner. The steaks are excellent and service is top notch.
