Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Big popular chain all over FL. I'm not really a smoothie fan, but the rest of my famliy are and even I'm impressed with their flat bread sandwiches. Their chicken bacon ranch flat bread is a great lunch meal and while most of their fruit based smoothies are major sugar bombs (which the kids love), the detox green smoothie is more reasonable and a healthier drink that I can actually palate (warning, if you don't like ginger though). It gets busy during lunch and early dinner rushes, so ordering in advance with the app is the way to go!

I love this place, and I order from/ go here pretty frequently. The menu is very hit or miss, and I've had one or two really bad experiences (looking at you, buffalo wrap). I HIGHLY recommend the Peanut Butter Crunch flatbread as i'm literally in love with it and it never misses. I can't believe more people don't order it. So good. Also of course, the smoothies are great, and I recommend the Blueberry Bliss (I usuallt add coconut and white chocolate) and Bahama Mama smoothies.

The staff there are very friendly and get your orders out in a decent time!! Get to the beach ?️ and chill!!

The owner is amaaaaaaaaazing.... And has hired a crew of "youngsters" that should make him proud ... They represent what he wants in a business, and they deliver. Quality food, delivered rapidly, with a smile and a gracious tone ... What more can you ask for?

Went here and the staff members were so rude, took forever to get my order and there was a hair in my food & when i talked on the phone with the manager James he was extremely rude and demeaning. Won’t be back.

I couldn't make my mind up on what I wanted and the lady referred various options and just was very patient with me. Answered every question I had and wasn't aggravated (or atleast didn't sound it). Lol. I will continue to go here never disappointed.

I've had somewhat of a wonderful time eating here. The food is delicious and their smoothies are worth every cent. It's all fresh food freshly made and ready when made. The few issues I do have here are their menus. Very small, plus, no prices showing on the small menu's they have. They only show the count of the calories in each dish listed on it. You have to look at the menu behind the counter up on the wall to see the price of each dish, which I found frustrating to deal with.Plus, while I tried to eat with my family, I heard commotion coming from the kitchen, a gentleman by the name of kenu and/or keanu (not sure how to spell his name) being very loud and very rude to everyone there.He's also very rude to his employees and managers. There was a new girl working there she said who was in training as an assistant manager. He was treating her very unkindly and verh rude like as well. I came by to ask her something but was notified that she had left that company due to his behavior and nothing was done about it. Apparently other customers have been seeing this gentleman acting out, yelling and have seen him throw items through the kitchen while trying to order food, or when they are eating. Some employees have stated that all he does is sit in the cooler being on his phone and not doing anything. When he comes out, he starts his misbehavior like a 5 year old all over again. I highly suggest something be done about him. Other wise you'll lose employees and more business at this location in Ponte Vedra.

Love how they close at 9 but you get there at 9:35 and the doors are locked and the two teenagers in there shake their head at you , literally the worst experience as a former tropical employee

Extremely accommodating and friendly staff. Clean dining room every time, fast service, and a genuine sense of pride taken here by all employees. I’m always glad I stopped in for lunch at this location. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt like the entire staff needed to hear that their hard work and efforts are acknowledged and appreciated. Keep up the great work!
