We had to be in Ponte Vedra last night and John went on the hunt for dinner and Thai is one of his favorites! I love the ambiance- it is a tiny dining room, but the bar is fabulous, the plants and orchids are glorious and we were seated in the "front" room, near the windows- which was nice. It had an authentic feel to it. I order hot ginger tea- delicious and scalding hot! I threw some ice cubes in my mug so I could even pick it up. Won Ton cup of soup- not my favorite. The noodles around the won ton were so soft and mushy which contrasted the crisp beans spouts. The broth flavor was yummy. Pad Woosen noodles with shrimp (no peppers)- the shrimp were huge, I was really excited when they set my plate down- and the smells, oh goodness! The noodles were packed with flavor- oddly enough, all the veggies and shrimp sis not have that same wow effect. It was almost as if they were cooked separately. Don't get me wrong- I enjoyed it, I ate all of it (I took home some and ate the rest later)- but I wish the flavor was throughout the dish. John got Pad Thai- shocker, and he LOVED it- like almost licked the plate clean! He was bragging that he might like it more than our go to for Thai. So... I'll have to try something else next time we visit. The lady next to us highly recommended the dessert- the banana chip thing. I will have to try that as well. Service was stellar- we never had to wait for anything!

We were visiting the beach club and went out about the area. We originally were going to Two Dudes Seafood restuarant, which had dogs around the food so we walked down to this place.We walked in around 1:30PM so the lunch crowd was gone or so we thought. There were 2 tables occupied so we walked in and were greeted immediately. It was a bit dark with the wood furniture and stuff but was ok as I continued to peruse the place. After we sat down, another 4 or 5 tables or so got occupied.The server took our order, which my husband had the Pad Thai and I had the Massaman Curry. The Curry was not bad, the Pad Thai awesome. We intended to go back but never made it; we wished we had gone there vs. the PV Fish Camp, which was mediocre as well.

We ate dinner there on a Saturday evening. Place was not crowded. Promptly seated and courteously welcomed. Ordered crab Rangoon appetizer, nothing special. We ordered red curry (ok, not great) and pad see euw (also not great). Service was quick and friendly.

Beautiful little gem in Ponte Vedra Square. On a cold rainy night, we walked into this warm welcoming restaurant with lovey decor and a nice selection of intimate seating (we chose the Red Chairs). We asked for and received some tasty recommendations. Our food came very quickly, hot and beautiful presentation. I encourage you to support this neighborhood treasure, we are lucky to have them in PVB.
