Food is disgusting and smells terrible. The restaurant was notably dirty. They have the lights very low to try to hide this fact. The whole place feels like a dying dream whos only future is to be closed by the health inspector. I would not have gotten food if I hadnt ordered by phone. I had a feeling it was a mistake when I walked in and that feeling was affirmed when I got my food.

The food is good, waiter was very nice. Two dudes needs a makeover and cleaning. I don't mind paying the price for a good dinner but if they don't have a deep cleaning and some renovation I won't be returning. Morrislaz
I can’t believe anyone would eat at this restaurant. It was dirty. The food was prepared in old grease. I could not eat my dinner. Worst hush puppies I hate ever tried to eat. None of it was fresh. It was actually disgusting.

Place badly needs a “refresh” as chairs and booths are dirty with torn fabrics. Baja fish tacos were excellent but the corn fritters were undercooked and inedible. Only offer flour and no corn tortillas for all taco offerings.
Two Dudes Seafood has long been a popular spot for those craving fresh, coastal cuisine in a laid-back, beachy atmosphere. Known for its casual vibe and locally sourced seafood, the restaurant has been a go-to for both locals and tourists looking for a satisfying seafood meal.
However, recent developments have cast a shadow over its reputation. In the past few months, Two Dudes Seafood has faced several health inspection failures, raising serious concerns about food safety and cleanliness. These issues have included violations related to food storage, sanitation, and temperature control, which are particularly troubling for a seafood restaurant where freshness is key.
While the menu still features a variety of appealing dishes, including fan favorites like fish tacos and shrimp platters, it's hard to overlook these lapses in health standards. For many diners, the idea of enjoying a meal is now tainted by the knowledge of these inspection failures.
In summary, while Two Dudes Seafood continues to offer tasty dishes in a relaxed setting, the recent health inspection issues are a significant concern. Until these problems are fully addressed, potential customers might want to consider other options or proceed with caution when dining here.

We were the only ones in the restaurant for lunch at noon. Fish tasted fishy, tea was super watered down, very dark inside.

This place is a hole-in-the-wall spot with the absolute best seafood around. They always have interesting and unusual species available that you cannot find elsewhere like tilefish and hogfish that are always cooked to perfection, paired with extremely tasty sides. Excellent service as well; I went with a friend tonight from out of town who was dying for some good seafood, and they even stayed open for us an extra 20 minutes. I highly recommend them!

Heard about this place on a newsletter and made the drive up from St Augustine to give it a try. What a wonderful selection of fresh fish and seafood. The fresh options change often but there are always great choices. Fast and friendly service. If you don’t like lots of blackening then make sure to order lightly blackened. The hush puppies were amazing. We also had the crab cakes which were also exceptional and mostly crab meat without a lot of filler.

We were in town for a week, visiting from Chicago area, looking for a very casual and local spot for fresh seafood. 2 Dudes is a small, unassuming place located in a strip mall one block off of A1A. Nice little bar inside with tables and booths surrounding. Chalk board lists fresh catches of the day. Good selection of sides to accompany your choice of entree selections. Our server, Hunter, was very energetic and helpful in providing background regarding the day's catches. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the preparation of our selections — grilled, blackened or fried. Prices were reasonable — less than what we'd paid at “higher end” restaurants —for quality maybe not quite as good. Definitely a local gem. When next in town, would absolutely return.
You wouldn't think by looking at the outside but the food was amazing. Our waitress was quick and friendly. Will definitely be going back again!

Highly recommended online but the cost was high for the amount of food we received.
